can you tell us more about Kitty? + pics? :0)

I got Kitty when I was pretty little; she’s a Hotpak Huggie, a small local brand (local at the time, when we lived in Pennsylvania) that’s basically a ice/heat pack in a plushie shell.

(I’m actually planning to send Kitty to Dr. Beth/Realms of Gold with hopes she can remove the pack and replace it with stuffing; I’m terrified it will burst and I’ll have to throw away Kitty. The website that’s still there says you can’t remove the packs, but. I’m willing to try. Kitty deserves me to have tried.)

I remember vaguely emailing the makers about my cat at the time and how I wanted Kitty because she looked like that cat. I don’t think you can find Kitty’s siblings anymore - either they don’t produce her exact make anymore or don’t produce any toys anymore at all. I will look around again but she’s kind of one of a kind now. Reason #1 when I leave for the post college safe house, she will be in my carry on bag (I don’t trust putting her in luggage or mailing her).

I think I will send her this summer to the plush hospital like I mentioned - the doctor already gave me a quote, and it’s really affordable.

She’s very special to me. Only the best for Kitty.

Name: Kitty

Brand: Hotpak Huggie Calico Cat

Kitty is a Hotpak Huggie, which are basically heat pack/cold pack animals made in Pittsburgh! I’ve had her for at least a decade.

Being a pack means she can be heated in the microwave, or put in the freezer to act as a ice pack. I’ve never done either of these really, since the one time I tried to heat her, a stitch broke and I panicked and haven’t done it again.

Kitty is wearing my old cat’s collar in memorial, as she looks like my old cat (a bit more white fur but it’s fine). She’s also wearing a braclet I made that’s a bit too big for my wrist.

Headcanons about Kitty:

She is kind of the Old Wise Archtype; has lot of knowledge, will share it, is a little tired of all these new kids running around and being mischievous

Likes to take naps

Close friends with Midnight and Bolt

Interested in craft making (namely knitting, crochet, bracelets, etc)

Soft fall forest and cozy bedroom aesthetic

F: Harmony. I’ve done the whole having feelings thing and that didnt work out so well, so I know us getting married wouldnt work, but that doesnt mean that sex wouldnt be good. M: Dani. She would be awesome at helping me pick up, and I could totally try and do the same for her. Apparently my idea of marriage is way more flexible then I first thought.  K: Kitty. Sorry. Lucky last and all that.

Memories //Kitty&Jessi

@awildecard gets a Miami starter

Tuesday, June 18th

After spending the evening enjoying the Drag show Jessi had decided to take a drink at the hotel bar. She wasn´t planning on getting drunk, but it was nice not having to worry about how much you could drink for once. Just one glass of wine, that sounded like a good idea. When she passed through the doors and headed for the bar, however, a familiar face came into view.

A sudden flash of memory came to her and Jessi couldn´t help but smile as she leaned against the bar. 

“Such a beautiful woman, all alone?” She asked, her smile getting even brighter. “What a shame.” She remembered seeing Kitty at the show, but she they hadn´t been seated at the same table and maybe Jessi was glad that she had chosen to have a drink instead of going to her room straight away.
