Bored. There was no better way to describe how Amara was feeling other than bored. Having spent over four hours in the library Amara felt as if her soul and energy was sucked out of her and as if her brain had turned into a pile of mush. Merlin, she had even smiled at a second year Hufflepuff so clearly her brain was not functioning properly. Although usually being good with her studies, Amara was struggling with herbology this semester. Unlike potions or charms, herbology was not her subject and despite spending hours in the library she still couldn’t seem to grasp what was going on. This not only frustrated Amara, but it also made her angry, she hated not being able to do something or for asking for help.
Letting out a sigh, Amara changed into something comfortable before escaping her dorm and headed towards the Slytherin common room. Sometimes Amara felt as if she spent more time on the Slytherin side of the castle than her own bed, not that that was a problem. Making her way straight to the girls dorm, Amara swung opened the door and a smile formed on her lips when her eyes found Astrid. “Thank Merlin you’re here. I did not want to go all over the castle searching for you.” The blonde made herself at home and collapsed onto the other girls bed. “I’m so bored Astrid.” she groaned before sitting up on the bed, leaning her back against the pillows. Slowly she lifted up her bag which she had dropped on the floor, taking from it a bottle of wine and holding it up. “I have a lovely bottle of wine and there’s no one else I’d rather share it with.” Her lips curved into a sly smirk, one eyebrow quirking slightly.
