the amazing spiderman ♚ brit + edwin

If there was something that Brit found impossible in her life, it was to arrive to a movie theater at the appropriate time. She either came too late or way too early and nothing in between. Luckily for her, she had company to help her withstand the onslaught of movie trivia and lame commecials. Edwin. There was something so effortless about this date that she hadn't felt in a while. It was so easy for her to sit here with him and not even say a word. It was what made her so anxious to be here with him and so comfortable with him. She just thanked her lucky stars that he didn't ask her out in person or she would her face would have given her away quickly. It was so hard to hide herself from him because he knew all her tells, and all her signs. 

Her hand slowly found its way to his and latched on. Turning to him she smiled, "I'm really glad we're doing this," she said honestly before taking a sip of the huge soda that he felt necessary for them to buy. This had taken her back to their second date when it was so obvious that he wanted to take her home that night and sleep with her, but Brit had always been such a tease when it came to that, even from the beginning. "What are we watching, again?" She asked before groaning at another round of movie trivia that flashed upon the screen while they spoke.

reconnecting ♡ brit + edwin

Get out. She thought to herself for what seemed to be like the thousandth time but here she was, parked in front of Edwin's dorm room, unable to even take the keys of out of the damn ignition. As she ran her hand through her tousled blonde hair, she felt the tears forming again, as they always did when she was alone. Everytime she thought of her father, it felt like her whole body was in freefall and her heart was in suspended animation. It panicked her to think that in just a few months she would have lost another parent and another person she cared about. It panicked her to think that in a few months, she would be alone. An orphan. Wiping the tears away slowly, she finally took the keys out of her car and found a way to exit the vehicle. 

As she made her way to the entrance of the building, she considered turning around and leaving too many times to count. Reaching the door she took a deep breath, and then pushed open the door, feeling the cool embrace of the air conditioning calming her down some. When she finally accepted the fact she couldn't leave, she realized she had never gotten his room number. "Shit." She hissed to herself, and stopped someone walking by. "Hey, do you know what room Edwin Thompson is in?" She asked quickly and nodded as he gave her the directions. So now someone had seen her and knew who she was looking for. No way she could leave. When the blonde finally reached his room, she knocked three times, paused and knocked twice. It was a special signal the two of them had established so long ago. She just hoped he remembered.
