I Don’t Pretend to Know the Challenges We’re Facing || Austlor (7/31)
Auston left his hotel earlier in the morning, deciding to take a walk around downtown Los Angeles, after Saturday he still wasn’t feeling like himself. The swelling on his jaw had gone down in the last day and a half, the split lip still bothered him as he spoke, feeling as if he had stuff on his lip and he just wanted to pick it off, so his face didn’t look as bad as before, but the small black eye was still visible under his right eye. His injuries weren’t as bad as the last time he fought Jamie, but they still caused him to not look his usual best, which mean he was still in his joggers and a plain black shirt he wore from the day before.
He walked an all too familiar path, he wasn’t headed downtown like he wanted to. His feet carried down the sidewalks, some grass, and across streets, until he stood next to a large apartment complex, he tried to see if he could see through the window of the third floor, but the curtains were down, so trying to even sneak a peek wouldn’t happen. He walked p to the large double door, glancing over at the page box, the name “t.hill” worn out on the button. He lifted his hand to touch it, taking a moment to hesitate... ‘What if she’s not home, then I look like a fool’ he thought to himself, His hand got closer before hearing the all too familiar buzz from pressing the button.
