Nothing to Lose || Nash & Lainey
Lainey wasn't even sure why she agreed to having coffee with Nash-- the last time she had coffee with someone, it didn't end too well. She thought too much and spoke too little, and when the other person tried to hold her hand, she found herself being rude in order to get him to stop. It baffled her how people thought that beneath her attempts at keeping people out, she really wanted them to get close to her. It was actually just the opposite. She really didn't want to get close to anyone. But then why did she agree to coffee with Nash?
Continuing to think to herself as she pulled her hair off the to side in a ponytail, the redhead furrowed her eyebrows, glancing down at her outfit-- a plain white shirt and yoga pants. It wasn't like she was really planning on going anywhere that day, since she was just writing and listening to music. Since she had gone back to her old hideout, it seemed like that was one of the only things she did besides for work, which Lainey really didn't mind. Even so, some socialization was good, and as she walked to the coffee shop that wasn't too far from her apartment, she just listened to everything while telling herself internally to not be a total bitch. Once she reached the small building, the redhead took a deep breath and walked in slowly, trying to find the familiar person.
