OR4 | Hwiyoung & Hel
@mpxhel:
"Was I incorrect?" Hel raised one delicate eyebrow, studying the demigod before her. "I could smell the blood in you, beyond that of what you could even touch in this hospital, war child." There was an assessing way in which she studied him, as if seeing through beyond the white doctor's coat and veneer of arrogance.
"I find it interesting that a child of a war god spends his time saving the lives of others. But it is not my place to say anything more about it." She gives a shrug before turning to look beyond the doctor. "One of your operating rooms are haunted. I'm here to collect."
Hwiyoung resembled his father in more ways than he would ever admit, and he hated that. It was one thing to be held responsible for his own less-than-ethical actions, and other to be presumed guilty by an association he had no choice in. “You’re not, but I would appreciate if you stopped... smelling me,” he responded, lips pressed together. Reaching out a hand from his doctor’s coat, he pointed down the corridor.
“I presume you’re looking for OR4. Frankly, I’m surprised it’s only one of them.” As a doctor, Hwiyoung was meant to say that they tried their best, but as a hard-to-please human being, he’d say his colleague didn’t try hard enough. Incompetency was a fault, not an accident.
