[By the time they get to the hospital Sunny is very much passed out in the car. There are still leaves in their hair and they look very exhausted but somehow sleeping peacefully. They don't seem to mind Polaris' presence at all]

[Polaris is in the middle of a toddler and a teenager, both sleeping soundly through the car ride. She really wanted to pick the leaves out of Sun's head, however she couldn't without risking waking one of them up with the movement. Truly a conundrum]

[Eventually, the cab makes it to the hospital and she gently nudges them both awake]

Sunny, Luna, Wake up, dears, we're here.

What? Her parents? Like actually? Like her actual parents?

I believe so. However, they do not deserve to be parents, especially not to that sweet baby.

They spoke of her as property, Mop. Not as their child, not as a little girl or their baby, but as an item to own.

She does not deserve this. She does not want to go back with them.

I am... conflicted. On one hand, I wish I was still there to take care of Star... but I cannot disobey their orders... and I certainly can't break Luna's trust.

I dunno. Just curious I guess. I mean, Mia keeps calling Charlie Dad, Mayday said Niki's gonna be like her Mom or something, and there's the whole thing with Lamb, Diamond, and Sun. I guess I was wondering if we had something like that!

I doubt they'd care what we call them, Comet. They don't exactly conform to such gendered roles, nor do they care what terms they're called.
