You think that you can have me tonight
I think that my, think my heart is alright
And oh baby think that I've got all the time
But in a few hours, I'll be out of my mind
Heather, you're stupid
I think you might have overdone it again
The faces that you love are slowly giving up
What you gonna do?
What do you see when you look at me?
I can't control my emotions lately
I'm excited, I'm sad
Then baby, I've had it
I would give you my body but I’m not sure that you want me I’m not sure that you want me...
Oh no baby are we gonna make it this time I always take hearts that shouldn’t be mine, be mine Slow down baby are we gonna make it alive You’ve got a face that I always recognise, always recognise Oh and I know red is your favourite colour
Does she really taste as good as I do?
Single Review: “Noises” by Pale Waves
It hasn’t even been a full six months since Pale Waves released their highly anticipated debut EP (All the Things I Never Said), which contributed greatly to the momentum the quartet that hails from Manchester, England had built up. They’ve done it the old-fashioned way, relentlessly touring around their home region of the UK and even parts of Europe to making an impression in the U.S. with a couple of headline runs already under their belt. And they’re not going to let any of that slip away, either, the group already back with a freshly recorded song. Singer and guitarist Heather Baron-Gracie, drummer Ciara Doran, lead guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Hugo Silvani and bassist/ multi-instrumentalist Charlie Wood have definitely found their sound during their relatively short time together, and in that regard, this newest release, “Noises” (out on Dirty Hit Limited/Interscope Records) is unquestionably the work of Pale Waves.
