it’s quiet. her light falls are the only things that she hears as she walks around their home. a pause as she stopped to look out the window. was louis outside, was that why she couldn’t find him anywhere inside? dominique started walking again until she reached the door that led outside. eyes adjusted to the light as soon as she found herself outside. she surveyed her surroundings in hopes that she would see her brother. there he was! with that, she walked towards him and held her hands behind her back.

“louis? what are you doing out here all by yourself, i’ve been looking for you...” she didn’t need to be asked or told, she just sat down beside him.
