It pains me to say but my best boy Owen passed earlier this morning in my arms. I received Owen as a birthday gift in 2005, he would’ve been 18 this year on my birthday (his birthday was mine, obvs), he was probably closer to 18 than that tho. He was the best cat, didn’t scratch on the furniture, didn’t jump up on the stove, didn’t knock stuff over (most of the time anyway), all that typical mischievous cat behavior. He was just chill. Just wanted to sit by his dad, lick whip cream off your dessert & kill all laser pointers.

We had the scare with him last year and thankfully he got better and I got a whole other year with him. I’m just glad he’s no longer in pain.

At the end, he was totally deaf & seemingly going blind but you couldn’t tell it. He was one of a kind, there will never be another like him. That I’m sure of. I’ll be adding pics to this album as I come across them. Please don’t be offended if I’m distant for a bit. Love you all.
