Breakfast at Midnight || Aaron and Arden

Aaron wasn’t sure why he was in the mood for a midnight breakfast. However, he was very happy that he got to hang out with Arden. He missed Oliver, definitely, but it was fun to hang out with his friends. He got dressed quickly, pulling a clean shirt on over his head and his jeans. It was definitely cold outside, so he pulled on a cable sweater and his letterman jacket. He tied his converses and then walked down the stairs. His parents were asleep, but he also knew that they would not care if he walked out of the house at midnight. He started his truck and drove to Arden’s house. While he waited for her to join him, he played on his phone.

Taco Bell || Arden and Aaron

Aaron smiled as he looked down at his phone and leaned against his truck, waiting for Arden to meet up with him. He was slightly worried that Oliver hadn’t texted him back. But, he was happy that he was hanging out with Arden. He loved how she had all of these cute ideas, like having a picnic or whatever, even if it was Taco Bell. He knew that she would ask about his bruises and he sighed quietly.

“Look, you don’t like me, I don’t like you, so let’s just leave it there.” Arden scoffed, rolling her eyes and faced away from the other. “You're so arrogant sometimes, it’s unreal.” Brett responded, dull toned. The dark skinned girl rolled her eyes yet again and she pushed her textbook further away from the other. For a teenage girl, she was definitely rude and arrogant, but she knew that for a dead certainty. “You know, it’s life. You need to build a bridge, get over it and stop wasting people’s time.” Arden mumbled under her breath. Even though she spoke quietly, Brett knew what she was saying word for word. “Half the time I don’t know why you have friends.” He spat. Being mean wasn't for Brett, especially when he was brought up to be polite and respect others.
