Family Doesn't End With Blood || Kelleary
"No, Sophie, please, you can't be back here." Jessie sighed exasperatedly as he watched the short red head move around behind the bar. It was like watching a bloodhound sniff out a foul as she reappeared with a bottle of dark amber liquid.
"How the hell did you even-" The tall brunette asked as the Irish woman poured herself a glass of whiskey and sipped it before looking at it appreciatively.
"Aidan's got a similar setup." She nodded, glancing up at the younger Franco brother. "Calm down Caveman," She grinned. "I'm here to see your boss."
Jessie frowned at her, the thought to physically remove her from behind the counter rather tantalizing before he shook the thought from his head. That would no doubt only get him in trouble.
"I can't leave you back here." He huffed.
"How's about this?" Sophie suggested, gesturing with her glass. "Ya go get your boss, and I promise I'll get out from behind the bar." She swore, arching an eyebrow.
They held each others gaze for a long moment, neither one wanting to look away before Jessie thankfully heard the door to Rhett's office open.
"Hey, boss!" Jessie called, not taking his eyes from Sophie. "You got a visitor!"
Sophie's eyes sparkled mischievously. It had been years since she had seen Rhett Kelly, but his name had come up enough times that he was a hard man to forget. It had taken her longer than she would have liked to discover his presence in Montford, but the moment she had she made plans to visit the man.
After all, he had always given the best piggy back rides.
