fake it till you make it || eli & bianca
Bianca was trying to push herself lately to talk to people, be social and not some freak who can’t leave her room because of what happened to her. She didn’t want to be a victim, but she sure felt like one. But tonight, she was taking a step in the right direction. She was leaving the apartment for something other than school or work, and that was an accomplishment to her. The girl didn’t know Eli extremely well, they were more on an acquaintance level, but what she did know was he was a nice person and she needed to surround herself with nice people. Getting herself dressed in attire that didn’t make her look like a bum, she left the apartment and drove to a smoothie place in the nicer part of town. Her hands were shaking as she stood in the place, there were strangers all around her and she didn’t like that, but she managed to order Eli his smoothie, grab it, and get out of there without embarrassing herself in some way. She took a moment in her car to slow her racing heart, she didn’t understand why it was so difficult for her to be around people, it made everything so much harder for her. Luckily, she was going to a hospital to see Eli. Well, not lucky for him, but hospitals were safe, no one would hurt her there. The brunette didn’t plan on asking the boy why he was there, it was none of her business, she just felt honored that he was willing to tell her he was there and let her come hang out with him.
She drove to Open Heart Memorial, stopping in the convenience store next to the hospital to grab some chocolate before making her way inside the safety of the hospital. Bianca awkwardly walked inside, biting down on her bottom lip as she asked the front desk where she could find Elijah Goldsworthy. The woman kindly brought her right to the room he was in. Walking inside, she smiled, “Elijah Goldsworthy, I have one disgusting smoothie for you. And delicious chocolate in my purse.” She laughed softly, placing the smoothie on the table near them in case he tried to take it from her hands and touched her by accident, “So, I got all different kinds of chocolate bars, a couple different delicious brands of chocolate, and I’m going to make you love it. So you can forget about drinking blended vegetables. You do realize how disgusting that sounds, right?” Her teasing smile appeared on her lips as her nose scrunched up with laughter. She took a quick moment took look around at their surroundings, her curiosity weaseling it’s way to the surface. Sure, she wondered why he was here, it was worrisome, but it was also not her business, so she looked back at him and smiled, “I see you’re having a wild Friday night. Any way I can spice it up for you?” She smirked, pushing her hair behind her shoulders as her head cocked to the side slightly. Maybe she didn't feel as carefree and happy as she made people believe, but she even impressed herself with how well she faked it.
