The Day is Coming!
The day is coming!
The day that I have been awaiting for years now
The day I dreamt about a million times now
The day that I couldn't believe I would really live to see
The day I never in my wildest imaginations thought would happen to someone like me
The day I finally get to be myself
The day I will be free
The day that once looked so far away but now is closer than ever
The day that I can finally look at , just not in my imagination
The day when I can finally see myself happier
The day that only I will be responsible for myself and everything that I do
The day where I will not be reminded of the things that hurt me over and over
The day no one will tell me what to do
The day no one will ask me where I was or where I have been
The day I will not have to do every single thing at home and still get to hear 'Oh! you didn't do anything'
The day I'll eat when I want to eat and what I want to eat
The day I will not be woken up by anyone screaming at me
The day i won't ever have to deal with someone else's frustration
The day I so longed for
The day I really wished for
The day I will be allowed to express myself
The day I don't stress about
The day I'll not have to hide things so someone will not throw them away anymore
The day that I can't stop writing this poem about
The day of me moving out of my parents' place, once and for all
The day is coming!

P.S. : I want to live through these days and see that day. Hence I ought to be extra cautious not to let that day go beyond my reach ever again.
Abusive Parents
Abusive parents are truly one of a kind. They will literally force you to do things for them, and then claim you don't do anything, you're just a waste, call you slurs and whatnot.
When you try to stand up for yourself and they come at your face and intimidate you with their shoutings and their eyes...you know things can get physical and you would not stand a chance. It's literally one of the worst feelings, to know that you are not old enough to get out, that they can and will physically hurt you and no one will bat an eye. The country I live in, Dominican Republic, encourages people to hit on their children. A form of education, they say.
It does something to you, for real, when you know you can't do shit about anything in those moments.
Fears
Children rights is just treating children like people and not property.
Parent rights are parents thinking this is unfair. As if parents are not the number 1 predator of children.
