We grow up, thinking we know everything. As teens, we own the world, adults are stupid and we can’t understand why people do the things they do because it just doesn’t make sense to us.
And we say we’ll never be like our parents, that we’ll be better and not do ___ to our kids.
And the next thing we know, we find ourselves at 9 o’clock at night eating raw brownie batter while the toddler is screaming and throwing things at his door because we had the audacity to turn off the light and told him to go to sleep.
My five-year old daughters biggest fear is bugs. Her favorite subject is science.
A lot of times I claim my kid is too tired to do more stuff/see more people, but really I’m too tired.
