It's been 4 days since my paresthesia started. And it's been fucking EXHAUSTING here. I noticed that it mostly goes away when I stand up and move around, but due to the pain, I kinda *have* to either sit on my ass or be lying down. Big eugh.
It's not as terribly persistent as it used to be, though. I suppose it's thanks to me going completely off Celecoxib yesterday- one of the adverse effects can be paresthesia. So now, I get short and subtle waves of pins and needles, occurring randomly all over my body, though my hands seem to be an all-time favourite.
Being off Celecoxib means joint pain being back and it is back, oh it is. My knees, fingers and hips have been giving me attitude since yesterday, but it's something I can handle if it means I get these stupid pins and needles gone.
I also started getting slight nausea after waking up, AND randomly placed pains? It's really effing confusing, since it's not something that usually happens to me, it's usually joints or muscles compromised by my bendiness. I have to confess, I did the Evil Thing and started reading into the symptoms online. Unsurprisingly I got scared shitless with MS and fibro, so in my panicked state, I set up a visit with a random neurologist who had the soonest possible term. I want to cry when I think of having MRI again and I definitely won't agree to get contrast. I heard that this thing literally burns through the tissues of people with EDS and I refuse to suffer any more than I do now.
I also noticed that being cold makes me much more prone to paresthesia? Maybe it's connected to my cardiovascular issues. Today, my pulse jumped up 45 bpm just from standing up from the couch, and I've been getting dizzy. Man, I'm just hoping that it all fucks off to hell once the semester starts. I'm trying to convince myself that being busy with uni will take my mind off every little thing that's happening to my body.
