in my head they're like the one item that has to be purchased together and cannot be separated yknow like how amazon is like frequently purchased together yeah thats johnny and ponyboy

johnny is mroe cautious around other people and quiet but the second its just him and ponyboy he's either a yapper or like. the listener who also gossips, if that makes sense. they're happier together. thats how i picture it at least i mean ponyboy talked a lot more when he was with johnny in the book. i think. i have memory issues damn :(

wait wait random hcs uh uh adhd ponyboy yes so hes just constantly restless and cannot sit down and then theres johnny who tells him to sit still for a little while because it's lowkey getting annoying. but he doesn't say that often because well thats. thats just mean :( i feel like it especially happens when they watch movies

as we can see in like multiple photos of them johnny's always (most of the time. cough. the lot scene.) serving face and ponyboy's the most grin grin happy yay!! whimsy creature ever. and i freaking love that. because thats their dynamic sort of. and i freaking love that. a lot. like. gibberish alien language. :)

i like the hc that ponyboy has an rbf and i feel like johnny would be kind of scared when he spots it like oh is he upset like whats going on nooo pony just didn't sleep. but his eyes probably light up the second they're together because they're just. awww <3

i also feel like they'd be a slightly chaotic duo. you've got a teenager and a slightly older teenager, so whats bound to happen. and they're greasers. so.

in my head they're also really really clingy with each other, always holding hands or arms or cuddling with each other or hugging because they're just. ugh. wait quickly did anyone else notice how after dally and pony and johnny were done chasing those kids johnny stopped running and got to pony and bumped his shoulder and also did anyone else notice how like when they walked past that girl after dally said nothing legal man that scene pony looked back and i swear to god he was looking back to see if johnny was following. please trust me on this i noticed this before my brain got overcome by the johnnyboy worms ughghfghfibjnh

constantly gossiping. they are a gossip duo. they're both observant people so they notice a lot of stuff and are like "oooohhh did you hear/see this????" "nooo :o"

okay i could yap about them for hours but i won't i love them thank you liz i like johnnyboy a little too much :)
