Another giggle escaped Ariel to join the others that had been spilling her lips for the past half an hour. She hadn’t know what possessed her, but she decided to throw all inhibitions to the side for just a moment to experience something that most others already had. “We should not be doing this,” she said, though there was no conviction in her voice as she leaned into the other girl. “If my father finds out, he’ll have me locked away for a month!” She said, laughing as if it was the funniest joke she’s ever made. “Ah, but at least I’m getting in trouble with you. You’re so pretty like.... like twinkling stars. The ones that twinkle more than one color that you can’t help but stare at for forever,” she said, admiring Veronica quite closely. Usually, she was very giving when it came to personal space. But, in the state that she was in now, it was as if the concept was completely destroyed. “Did you know I’ve never kissed anyone before? I’m so lame to other people because of that. But, I always thought, since I was little, that I would give my first kiss to someone very beautiful like you. I used to daydream about what it would feel like to kiss a star.”

even if ariel and veronica didn’t come to the event together, ariel would be able to spot her girlfriend from a distance away. she honestly couldn’t keep her eyes off of her, arms wrapping around the other’s frame. “you are beyond breathtaking. i wish i’d dressed up more so i could be worthy of being by your side,” she said, a hand resting on veronica’s cheek. a sentimental thought came to her mind and she had to look away as her eyes watered, an embarrassed smile adorning her features. “i imagine this is what you would look like on your wedding day – so beautiful and pure. i’m feeling ridiculous right now, but oh goodness. i love you so much i feel like i could put my soul into a small bottle and hand it over to you here and now.”

Zed knew this was lame, but he really couldn’t pass up the group activity. He even forced his cabin mate to come with him just so they could get to know each other more and he wouldn’t look too weird making bracelets by himself. He groaned as his fumbling fingers stopped what they were doing. “I did it again! Look,” he said, showing the progress of the bracelet which clearly started to spell Veronica as ‘Vernica’. “I can’t believe I forgot a letter again. Addison is Addson and you’re Vernica. I don’t think I’m cut out for this.”

An amused -- and guilty -- chuckle escaped Ariel as she felt the hand go into her pocket. She was never the kind to be very upfront about this sort of thing. But, she did get what she wanted when she received the kiss. “But, isn’t it more fun to play games? At least, that’s what I’ve come to know from other people,” she said coyly, bumping her nose against Veronica’s. “Plus, my hands are broken -- completely useless. Doctor’s are to not use them,” she playfully fibbed.
