Hc that Sanji always pats Bepo when they meet with the heart pirates he either pats him or gives him a hug and then goes on like nothing happend.
Then the crew meets Pedro , fluffy loyal Pedro willing to put his life on the line for Sanji and immediately realise "oh fuck"
This fits with Trafalgar!Sanji the best, the cook always hugging and petting Bepo and purposely made time before everything at Sabaody happened and made everyone jealous. Then again on Zou and Sanji sacrifices himself after spending a day getting to know the minks and making sure everyone is healing and clicked with Pedro.
Then everyone shows up and sees Pedro and how loyal and fluffy he is to the missing cook and realizes what's happening. He volunteers for the rescue mission and is laying down his life for the cook that did the same for him and Law is having flashbacks of nights huddled around Bepo for warmth and the way Sanji treats the Polar Bear mink and Sanji's crew is seemingly recognizing what's going on with their cook and Pedro.
And Law just has to deal with the fact his little brother has a mink who’s gone for him and is likely just as gone on Pedro. And he’s right when they make it Wano and Sanji and Pedro are basically inseparable. Law should have seen it coming, and apparently Robin agrees as Pedro is basically purring on the cook’s lap while Chopper and Beto also cuddle him. Nami is apparently making a killing collecting bets from the crews, having seen it from miles away.
