I dyed my hair today. Some thoughts:

There’s nothing like the first day of a dye job. My hair is never softer, more dark purply-red and clean as the dye day. It’s the best.

I love this color.

I poked a hole in the middle finger tip of my left glove and dyed my fingernail purple. :sigh:

It’s always bothered me how the instructions say to snap off the top of the squirt bottle & /then/ shake well to mix. Like, no.

I was embarrassed about the one purple nail, so I painted them all. I immediately regretted it. The indignity of painted nails. Ugh. (My preference only, no insult intended to others w/ lacquered ones.)

I missed a tiny spot in the roots near the front. No one else will notice, but it will bother me all month.

The particular shade I use, when you let it stain your skin, looks just like a bruise. If you get it all over your upper arm and don't stop to wash it off, you look like a victim of domestic abuse.

Why do people read this dreck?
