Jack Abbott getting transfered to Saint Louis for a day and liking it more than the pitt lmao

Jack was immediately suspicious. I mean reinforced doors, heavily armed guards and killer patients with infamous reputations?

He’d probably assume St. Louis is going to be worse than the Pitt.

Then he’d notice the staff actually seem organized. There are clear protocols, nurses who know their patients, doctors who actually communicate with one another and patients aren’t simply being left to deteriorate.

Okay. Could be worse. He thinks before entering the facility and starting his first day.

MEETING JASON

Jack would initially be extremely cautious.

Jason is enormous, silent, masked, and carrying the aura of someone who could snap a man in half. Probably could. Probably already did.

Jack would instinctively keep his distance at first.

But then Jason simply stares at him and little by little opens up and makes Jack more curious than uncomfortable in his presence.

Jack *smiles and waves at him* : “…Good job, Jason. You were very brave.”

Jason gives him a slow nod in acknowledgment and gives him a small otter wooden figurine in thanks.

Jack would gradually realize Jason is actually remarkably gentle with people he considers friends and Jack would also be fascinated by how much communication Jason manages without speaking. He’d probably think Jason is far more emotionally intelligent than people assume and Jason would quickly become one of his favourite patients.

He keeps the little otter in his breast pocket all night.

MEETING MICHAEL MYERS

Jason is intimidating because he’s visibly huge but Michael is intimidating because he is huge AND quiet. He doesn’t even try to communicate at first and just stares at Abbot like he’s the enemy on a battlefield, even if Jack is only there to look at Michael’s injured arm and to bandage it.

Jack *attempts a conversation* : “Sooo you’re Michael.”

Silence.

Jack *smiles* : “Not a big talker, eh. That’s fine. I’ll just take care of your arm and I’ll leave you alone. Just stay still for me, big guy.”

At least, Michael is not one to bother Jack when he’s working—so that’s something.

But then at the end, Michael unexpectedly gets up, walks into the kitchen, and returns with a plate of food.

He silently hands it to Jack and grunts. Jack stares at the mountain of spaghetti with marinara sauce and cheese like Michael just handed him a bomb.

But Jack eventually accepts it and starts eating while Michael is staring attentively to see if Jack likes it.

The moment Jack is over with his food, Michael serves him again and only grunts for him to eat more. That’s his way of paying Jack back for taking care of him.

After that, Jack would become quite fond of Michael. Big guy’s just a big softie.

MEETING BRAHMS HEELSHIRE

Jack would initially misunderstand the situation. He’d see Brahms wearing his doll mask and assume he’s dealing with someone who genuinely believes he’s a doll.

Then he’d realize: Brahms is a grown man.

The mask is part of his identity.

The actual doll is another person/entity he carries around in his head. Jack would then try to be as reassuring as he can because he knows that it mustn’t be easy for Brahms, having all these thoughts in his head.

Very quickly, Jack would realize Brahms is extremely emotionally dependent on the people he trusts. If Brahms learned to trust Jack, he would follow him around like a puppy and help him in all the ways he possibly can…just for a small praise.

You have to understand that Brahms was abused by his father as a child (kicked and punched for liking ‘girly things’).

He would see a father figure in Jack.

Jack *winks at him* : “Good job, kiddo.”

Brahms *immediately hugs Jack*

MEETING FREDDY KRUEGER

Jack would actually like Freddy. Surprising? Not really. They’re both sarcastic old men, fans of rock n roll and the ‘good old days’ and trauma bonding would be easy. Freddy would take one look at Jack and immediately start making jokes and Jack would immediately respond with dry sarcasm.

Freddy would love that and so would Jack.

Their interactions would become a constant battle of insults.

Freddy: “So what’s with the leg, Doc?”

Jack *shrugs as he examines a piece of wood that Freddy got stuck in his leg* : “What’s with the face, Freddy?”

Freddy *bursts out laughing* : “Hey! At least I still got a face…not like your leg’s gonna grow back.”

Jack *grins* : “1…2…”

He didn’t wait till 3 to get the piece of wood out of Freddy’s leg and Freddy screamed.

“SON OF A B—!”

Jack would probably be one of the few doctors who doesn’t get intimidated by Freddy’s theatrics. Freddy would find that hilarious and Jack would eventually realize that underneath the jokes, Freddy is actually capable of forming attachments.

Freddy *approaches Jack with his hat in hands* : “Hey…so…ya good with kids, right?”

Jack *frowns* : “Huh. I guess. Why?”

MEETING GHOSTFACE (EDDIE MUNSON)

Eddie would probably be the patient Jack connects with fastest. He’s loud, sarcastic, dramatic and anxious underneath it all.

Jack would recognize the defensive humor.

Eddie would probably ramble about: his guitar, D&D, Hawkins, the Upside Down, and the fact that he somehow ended up becoming Ghostface.

Jack would stare at him for several seconds after all that and ask. “You know, I was going to ask if you had any family history of psychiatric illness.”

Eddie *grins* : “Oh yeah. Apparently my dad is Freddy Krueger and abandoned me when I was born. Actually, no. He didn’t know I even existed before we both ended up in this hospital. Sooo…you could say like father like son.”

Jack *blinks* : “…Nevermind. That explains a lot.”

MEETING JACK TORRANCE

This one would make Jack deeply uncomfortable. Not because Torrance is physically intimidating, but because Jack would recognize something familiar in him. Jack initially seems perfectly ordinary, capable of holding a perfectly normal conversation, but then there would be these little cracks.

The anger. The obsession. The references to the hotel.

The way his expression occasionally seems to change when he talks about his family.

Jack : “Do you remember what happened to you at the hotel?”

Torrance *pauses with a drink in hand* : “Some things.”

Jack : “And the things you don’t remember?”

Torrance shrugs and huffs. “Don’t wanna remember them. Perhaps it’s best I don’t.”

He’d also notice that Torrance has moments where he genuinely seems ashamed of what he did. That would make Abbot wonder whether there’s still a part of him capable of rehabilitation.

He’d probably be one of the patients Abbot would want to study most closely.

MEETING BUBBA SAWYER

Jack would initially have absolutely no idea what to do with Bubba. Bubba is huge, he looks terrifying and he has a long history of violence. And yet, once Jack actually meets him, he realizes Bubba is much more docile than he appears.

Bubba might hide behind someone he trusts like Thomas at first, but slowly get out of his shell when Jack would speak to him gently and calmly rather than treating him like a monster.

Bubba *stomach grumbles*

Jack : “You hungry, big fella?”

Bubba nods sheepishly.

Jack *smiles* : “Okay. What do you want?”

Bubba points towards the kitchen.

Jack : “Right. Food. We can work with that.”

Jack would probably be surprised by how gentle Bubba can be when he’s calm. He’d also notice how heavily Bubba depends on family or familiar people.

And then someone would explain that Bubba used to be a cannibal.

Jack *sighs* : “…Of course he is.”

But he would calm down once the staff would explain that they had found a substitute in chicken nuggets. Bubba tried those and was immediately hooked.

Jack *shakes his head* : “Chicken nuggies it is…”

Bubba *happily claps*

MEETING THOMAS HEWITT

At first glance, Jack would see an enormous man, terrifying appearance, chainsaw and violent history…also cannibal.

But then Jack would notice that Thomas avoids eye contact, becomes visibly nervous around strangers and listens carefully when spoken to.

He might even seem embarrassed when someone is frightened of him.

Jack would immediately recognize that there is far more going on beneath the surface and speak to Thomas in a calm, straightforward way. “You don’t have to be afraid of me, big fella. I won’t hurt you.”

Thomas slowly looks at him and Jack would notice the difference between Thomas’s physical presence and his actual demeanor.

He’d probably conclude that Thomas has been conditioned by his environment and family for most of his life...which would make Jack angry. Especially if he learned how the Hewitt family treated him.

Jack might actually become one of the few people who speaks to Thomas as though he’s a person. Thomas would probably become attached to him very quickly and Jack would pretend not to notice.

Jack *grins and fist bumps him when Thomas stays perfectly still for his examination* : “That’s my boy.”

MEETING BO SINCLAIR

Jack would be careful around Bo almost immediately. Not because Bo is openly hostile, but because Jack would recognize the arrogance and manipulative charm underneath the Southern hospitality.

Bo greets him with a grin and a tilt of his cap: “Well, hello there. Ya the new doc’?”

Jack *looks him up and down unimpressed* : “Temporarily.”

Bo *clicks his tongue* : “Shame. We could use somebody with a sense of humor around here.”

Jack *narrows his eyes* : “You killed people for fun.”

Bo *grins* : “And you’ve got a prosthetic leg and an attitude. Everybody’s got problems.”

Jack would actually have to suppress a laugh. He’d hate the fact that Bo is actually funny. He’d also immediately notice how protective Bo is of Vincent.

If Bo started provoking Jack too much, Vincent would probably quietly intervene too.

He’d also be very interested in the Sinclair brothers’ dynamic.

Bo is aggressive and controlling but Vincent is quieter and more withdrawn. Yet there’s an obvious bond between them. Jack would probably conclude that Bo is the way he is because he wants to protect his brother…which would remind him a bit of him and Robby.

MEETING VINCENT SINCLAIR

Jack would probably feel more comfortable with Vincent. Vincent wouldn’t bombard him with questions.

He’d simply observe.

Jack would notice the scars and the mask but wouldn’t stare and that would probably earn Vincent’s trust surprisingly quickly.

Vincent might eventually show Jack some of his artwork and Jack would be genuinely impressed. “You did this? Wow. That’s really pretty.”

Vincent nods and Jack examines it more closely. “You’re good, pal’. Really good.”

Vincent would probably give the tiniest smile at the praise and Jack would quickly realize that Vincent communicates more through actions and art than words.

He’d also notice that Vincent is extremely protective of Bo despite their dysfunctional relationship. Jack thinks Vincent is one of the patients who has the greatest potential for rehabilitation.

MEETING FATHER PAUL HILL

This would be weird for Jack because he wouldn’t expect an actual PRIEST to be one of the patients. Paul would speak politely and thoughtfully and Jack would be suspicious of him because that man seems normal and even more disturbing, he is the only patient who actually thanks him after examining him. “You are a kind man, Jack. Thank you.”

Something about Paul would feel too composed and Jack would think about it for a moment before checking his pulse and almost falling back in shock.

No pulse. No actual pulse. Nothing. Silence.

Paul *tilts his head and smiles knowingly* : “Ah. My apologies. First time meeting a vampire I presume?”

He’d glance down at Paul’s file again.

FATHER PAUL HILL : Priest. Vampire. Former parish priest. Was the only survivor. All the parishioners were found dead.

Jack *slowly closes the file* : “You know, when they told me this place housed murderers, I didn’t expect dead vampire priests to be included.”

Father Paul smiles…but there’s sadness behind it.

Jack *looks at him knowingly* : “Your parishioners. You regret it.”

Father Paul *looks down at his hands and whispers* : “Every day. I truly believed an angel was guiding my hand and that I was bringing people salvation. I told myself that what I was doing was a blessing and that I was giving people something greater than life.” *closes his eyes* “Now I understand that I was simply bringing their end.”

That answer would genuinely catch Jack off guard. He’d probably become one of the patients Jack would actually enjoy having conversations with.

 MEETING ESTHER

Jack would be extremely cautious around Esther. She looks like a child, behaves like a child but Jack would quickly notice how carefully she watches adults around her and how quickly she adapts her behavior depending on who’s around.

A true predator behaviour.

Jack would immediately switch into doctor mode. He wouldn’t patronize her and Esther would probably dislike that since she’d attempt to manipulate him.

But Jack would calmly see through it.

Esther *pouts* : “You’re not very nice.”

Jack *doesn’t even glance at her before taking a sample of her blood for tests* : “I’m a doctor, not a birthday clown.”

When she is being difficult, Esther would stare at him and Jack would stare right back.

Neither would blink until she’d eventually smile. “You are VERY handsome for a doctor.”

Jack would not smile back and probably find the comment creepy coming from her. He would be one of the few adults she couldn’t easily manipulate, which would make her simultaneously frustrated and fascinated by him.

MEETING FIVE HARGREEVES

Five would be the one Jack actually bonds with almost immediately. They’re both sarcastic, intelligent and deeply unimpressed by incompetence. Jack is patient though, which you need to be when dealing with Five…especially when Five greets you with an axe in his hands when you first meet him.

Five *look at Jack’s leg* : “What happened?”

Jack *doesn’t look at him as he treats him* : “Lost a leg.”

Five *scoffs* : “Obviously.”

Jack: “Oh. You meant how I lost it? Funny story actually…” And the story would change each time Five asks. But Five would only grin and they’d immediately bond. They’d talk about medicine, time travel, the hospital and everyone else.

Five would tell Jack that St. Louis is insane.

Jack: “I’ve noticed.”

Five: “No. I mean literally insane.”

Jack: “Again, noticed.”

Five would become one of Jack’s favorite people in the hospital and would appreciate that Five likes to talk to him and Five would appreciate that Jack doesn’t treat him like a child. They’d sit together drinking coffee and talk shit about everyone. Five would also tell Jack about the strange things happening beneath the hospital.

Jack *listens carefully* : “So you’re telling me there’s a supernatural cave underneath this hospital that attracts weird people and creatures?”

Five: “Yes.”

Jack *chuckles and shakes his head* : “…And people willingly work here? Okay. I get it now when you called this place literally insane.”

MEETING THE PENNY BROS

Jack would immediately realize these two are not normal patients.

Penny would be the first to approach him. Loud, energetic and curious. Probably asking him twenty questions within thirty seconds. But there would be something about him that would make Jack very nervous.

Pennywise, however, would be his (secret) favourite.

Pennywise *stares at him with a mischievous grin*

Jack: “Do you mind?”

Pennywise *chuckles* : “I’m deciding which part of you I’ll devour first.”

Jack *raises an eyebrow at him* : “And I’m deciding whether your medication needs adjusting. Don’t play with me, Pennywise, ‘cause I bite too.”

Pennywise would laugh and Jack would as well. Pennywise is the funniest of the two for Jack. But then, Jack notices his long sharp teeth. Jack would then be certain that Penny and Pennywise are not to be messed with.

MEETING PINHEAD

Jack would first be told there is a new patient in Maximum Security.

“Don’t solve the puzzle.” One of the nurses tells him.

Jack pauses. “What puzzle?”

The nurse stares at him. “Exactly.”

Jack would be intrigued immediately.

When Jack enters the room however, he doesn’t find someone pacing or behaving erratically. Pinhead stands perfectly still, dressed in his black leather attire, the configuration of his face making Jack stare for a moment longer than he intended.

Jack: “So…you’re Pinhead.”

Pinhead *bows his head* : “That is what they call me.”

Jack glances at the file. “Fitting name. Hellraiser. Interdimensional sadist. Cenobite. Likes chains. That’s one hell of a résumé.”

Pinhead wouldn’t react and Jack would immediately realize something important: Pinhead isn’t crazy. He’s extremely articulate and calm. It surprises him because physically speaking, Pinhead might be the weirdest of them all.

Pinhead actually listens and answers questions intelligently.

‘Funny. The most terrifying thing in this building has the best bedside manners.’ Jack thinks before proceeding with his examination.

Pinhead *smiles at the end and puts tea down between them* : “Hell is just a place where suffering reigns, Doctor Abbot. But so does Earth. Life is pain, but isn’t it the reason for its beauty?”

Abbot is momentarily stunned before he chuckles and replies : “Quite the philosophy. I guess so. By the way, a nurse told me you would offer me to solve a puzzle?”

Pinhead stares at him for a moment with a small smile: “Forgive me, Jack. I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as enough suffering…but in my realm, you are one of the people we call ‘the chosen ones’…for their suffering is never-ending. So no. I will not offer you the box…for you are already the perfect produce of suffering in its most…beautiful form, dear child.”

For once, Abbot has nothing to say and cannot wait to get the hell out of that room.

MEETING THE HEAD NURSE (YOU)

Jack stood on the roof long after his conversation with Pinhead and after his shift had ended. The door slammed shut behind him.

St. Louis looked different from up here.

The hospital grounds stretched beneath him, surrounded by trees, a lake and distant mountains. It was a far cry from the Pitt.

Jack walked towards the edge and stared down.

For a moment, the hospital disappeared. There was only the familiar emptiness in his chest and the strange calm that came with standing somewhere he shouldn’t. Jack remembered another rooftop and another person. Robby. He couldn’t believe it had already been a year since his bike accident.

Jack swallowed and closed his eyes.

Robby wasn’t here anymore.

The wind moved through his hair and for a moment…he considered jumping.

But before he could, a hand slipped into his. Jack froze and his eyes snapped open. He slowly turned his head and saw you standing beside him.

For several seconds, neither of you spoke…then Jack asked. “Who are you?”

You smiled at him. “Head Nurse Y/N. At your service.”

Jack chuckled in disbelief. “Alright, Head Nurse Y/N. Why are you holding my hand?”

You didn’t answer immediately and instead looked towards the edge then back at him.“Because you looked like you needed someone to hold your hand. It is rather high up here…you could easily slip.”

Jack’s expression changed and his eyes lowered towards your joined hands. His jaw tightened and he looked away quickly, blinking a few tears away. His fingers tightened around yours.

“Thank you,” he murmured.

You didn’t answer, but when he took a step back from the edge, you were there to support him.

Then, you heard someone behind you shout: “HEY, ABBOT! YOU WANNA STAY? WE GOT PLENTY OF ROOM!”

Jack turned towards Freddy’s voice and his breath hitched when he saw a lot of the patients he had treated tonight behind the both of you on the roof.

He smiled and his eyes were a little glassy. “You know what? I just might.”

For a moment, nobody said anything then Freddy’s grin widened. “Yeah! That’s what I’m talkin’ about!” He threw an arm around Eddie’s shoulders, nearly making the younger man stumble.

Eddie laughed. “Dude, you can’t just recruit doctors.”

“Why not?” Freddy shot back. “We’re understaffed.”

“You are a patient.”

Freddy scoffed and waved dismissively. “Bah! Details.”

Jack shook his head, but he was smiling.

He looked around at them.

Jason stood a little farther back, hands folded loosely in front of him. When Jack caught his eyes, Jason gave him a small nod. Brahms was beside him, clutching his doll against his chest and smiling beneath his mask. Michael stood near the doorway, silent as always while Penny was practically bouncing on his feet. Pennywise stood beside him, watching Jack with an oddly knowing expression. Bo and Vincent were there too. Vincent gave Jack a quiet nod while Bo smirked.

Jack stared at all of them. “…You people followed me onto the roof?”

Five shrugged. “You were taking too long.”

Penny raised his hand. “I wanted to see if you were actually going to jump!”

The entire group turned towards him and Penny blinked. “What?”

You sighed and shook your head in disbelief. “Penny.”

“What?! We were all thinking it!”

Pennywise sighed and slapped his younger brother on the head. “Idiot.”

Penny glared at him and rubbed the top of his head. “OWW!”

Jack actually laughed and relaxed. Yeah. Maybe life would be good here?

ST LOUIS HOSPITAL PART 10

SUMMARY : You are locked up with the killer clowns. Will you survive or meet your demise? The brothers were both lying on their cots.

They were staring at you with matching unsettling smiles. Pennywise was lying on his belly, with one hand propping his head up.

Meanwhile Penny was standing there with his head tilted curiously at you. You knew better than to be afraid. You had to slow your stupid heartbeat down...

You inhaled and exhaled slowly, trying to stop your heart from beating so fast that the two brothers could hear it.

Pennywise seemed to have noticed your attempt to calm yourself down. His mouth stretched into a wide toothy grin as he sat up and watched you closely.

In and out. In and out. In and out.

You shut your eyes for a moment.

Pennywise got up from his bed and approached you slowly and quietly. Penny got up too and walked over to your side of the cell.

You turned around to face them and forced yourself to smile. "...Hello, Pennywise. Hello, Penny. Are you both having a good night?"

They both just continued to stare at you. Their unblinking eyes made you shiver slightly, but you remained relatively calm. Pennywise just stood there for a few moments, eyes fixed on you and didn't stop smiling. But then, he suddenly fell backwards on his back and started...laughing uncontrollably.

Your eyes widened. You stepped forward.

"Pennywise? Are you.alright?"

He kept on laughing, his hysterical cackling filling the room. Tears began to stream down his face, dripping onto the floor from how hard he was laughing.

He rolled onto his side and his hands clutched his stomach as he kept laughing uncontrollably.

You smiled weakly. "...Hum. Always nice to hear a laugh I guess."

Pennywise tried to calm himself down and catch his breath, still lying on his side on the ground. His chuckles were slowly fading. He eventually sat up and looked at you, wiping the imaginary tears off his face.

You looked around the cell. "So...since I am here. Did you receive the reindeer meat I sent you this afternoon?"

You pulled out your notebook. The mention of the food seemed to catch the brothers' attention.

You coughed. "So...any special requests? Any meat you favoured those last few days?" Your hands were shaking.

Penny pointed to your notebook, clearly interested in its content. He then looked up at you questioningly, wondering why you were carrying it.

You smiled before showing the content to him. "Oh! That? It's my special requests notebook. I tend to write all the things that the different patients want or like or their passions. Also personal observations. For example, Jason loves toads and frogs.

Brahms loves stuffed animals and the colour pink. Arthur Fleck requested green hair dye the other day. It's all so fascinating-" You blabbered on nervously as Penny rested his chin on top of your head. He was still listening intently to you while he read your notes over your shoulder.

Your sudden nervousness wasn't doing anything for your situation. You were scared.

Because the Penny Brothers could do far worse than just murder you...far far worse.

Your mind was racing. Your heartbeat was getting louder and faster again...just...damnit you needed to keep calm.

You could tell the brothers were watching you closely. They knew you were doing your best to keep your breathing and body movements as relaxed as possible.

Pennywise let out a quiet chuckle, "Aww... scared. Mama Bear?"

You were doing your best to keep your heartbeat, breathing, and body movements steady. You replied to him as calmly as possible. "I'm a medical professional. I tend to stay calm in stressful situations, Pennywise."

You could feel both brothers looking at you.

Penny was behind you and Pennywise in front of you. Pennywise chuckled again, his eyes studying you closely. Penny tilted his head while drooling all over your hair.

"You're lying. You're scared. We can literally hear your heartbeat..." Penny informed you.

Your breathing hitched for a moment, and you took a deep breath before replying. "I...l do not believe the patients...need to be feared...And I apologise for my heartbeat frequency. It was always faster than most."

Penny moved a bit closer, his chin still on your head, as your eyes darted between him and the ground. "You should be afraid of us though! We're VERY SCAAARY."

You gulped and Pennywise grinned as he agreed with his brother. "Yup. Scariest things in this place...and no one is gonna come save you for a while. Isn't that right, lil' mouse?"

Your heart froze for a moment. He... was right.

You were locked in a cell with him, and no one was going to come to help you. McCain wasn't taking you out of here any time soon.

You were on your own.

Pennywise just continued to grin as he observed your every micro-expression. "Aww, why so scared? I thought you weren't. We're just going to have...a nice chat, that's all. Isn't that what you wanted?"

You could feel a shiver go down your spine.

There was no way out of here, and you had to stay calm, even as both brothers were standing so close to you. "Of course. I am always happy to have a chat."

Pennywise chuckled once more, clearly amused by your attempts to remain calm and collected. "You're a bad liar, Y/N." He put his hand out, his fingers hovering inches away from your face. It seemed like he was...trying to touch you, but he stopped himself at the last minute, pulling his hand back and shoving it in his pocket instead.

Your eyes caught on that and you tried to touch Pennywise, but he scoffed and took a step back. "Oh, I don't think so..."

You were surprised by the immediate change in his behavior. He just...backed up, maybe even flinched? Or maybe you were just imagining things. His brother was watching, amused by the entire exchange. You blinked and wrote the observation down with a smile.

A sensitive spot, perhaps...an aversion to touch ? To be tested. Fascinating...

Pennywise saw you writing down notes and his eyes narrowed slightly at that. "We are not your research subjects. Your notebook isn't gonna be of any use to you here, lil' mouse. You're not leaving this place."

You nodded. "I know that. You are going to eat me. I have no doubt that you will.."

He looked surprised by that blunt answer, but then let out a low chuckle. "Is that right?" He started to slowly circling you as he talked. "What makes you so sure of that?"

You shrugged. "You are creatures of instinct who feed on fear? And besides, you haven't had your dinner yet. You must be starving. But until you decide it is time to eat... I wish to write as many words as I can on my experience from now to my inevitable demise..."

He was still circling you, looking you up and down. He could hear how your heart was beating fast, but you were still holding it together. Impressive. "Is that really how you want to spend your last minutes on Earth?"

You nodded. "Do you mind?"

He tilted his head. "No. We don't really care about how you choose to live your final moments...Right, Penny?!"

Penny, who had been silent for the past few seconds, shrugged nonchalantly before taking another strand of your hair to chew on it. "Not really."

You looked up at Penny. "Um…..Could I ask why you are chewing on my hair...?"

He looked at you, the end of your hair still in his mouth, before pulling it out. "It smells like cotton candy. I wanted to see if it tasted as good as it smells."

You nodded and wrote it down. "And does it?"

He shrugged and picked up another strand of your hair. "Yes."

You nodded again. Meanwhile, Pennywise's smile grew bigger. "You're so...calm. And yet you know you're going to die. Why is that?" You could smell the fragrance of decay and death...but you kept writing. He bent down, bringing his face closer to yours, and took a sniff of your hair. "Hmm…..l think I'll take the head. l'd like a taste of that brain."

You felt a shiver run down your spine, but still, your outward expression remained calm. "I don't think my brain will have much meat in it. But you are free to try. According to almost everyone in this hospital, I seem to be quite stupid. I am curious though. You would eat my brain first? Not my heart or liver?"

He was amused by your response, and the amount of self control you were showing. How you were managing to get through this without having an absolute breakdown. He shrugged before replying, his eyes roaming over your body once more, examining you as if trying to determine where he'd take his first bite. "A good hunter always goes for the head first, sugar."

You nodded and kept writing —cold sweat running down your forehead, neck and back.

He noticed, and a slow smile started to form on his face.

"It is quite hot in here." You told him and fidgeted with your collar.

He chuckled darkly at that and he could hear your heartbeat again, getting faster and faster. Almost ripe. He raised a white-gloved finger to your cheek...following a drop with his finger. He gathered it and tasted it. "No point in lying, lil' mouse. I can hear your heart and taste your fear...you're scared. You're very very scared and it won't get any better. Trust me."

Penny was still standing there behind you, just watching the whole thing as he played with your hair. But then, you felt his hand resting on your stomach and his fingers lengthening into long dark claws. Your eyes widened and tears mixed with the sweat. No. Nononono...

The corners of Penny's mouth curled up as he saw your eyes widen in fear. "Aww..don't cry, Y/N. It will be over soon. And I promise I'll only make it hurt a little bit..." Penny licked the side of your face and suddenly, your notebook and the pen you were using fell to the floor as your shaking hands were suddenly unable to hold them anymore.

Pennywise cackled. "Ohh, look at ya. You've been doing so well so far...But it's just too much now, isn't it? You're scared. You're shaking. You're sweating. There's nothing you can do..."

They both had a look of sheer delight and excitement as they saw this, how you were slowly falling apart in front of them.

Pennywise crouched down and picked up your pen and notebook, flipping through the pages curiously. His gaze went over some of the things you'd written so far. "Quite the interesting list of notes you have in here...you really were planning on researching us. How adorable."

But then, he fell on one interesting page and his smile momentarily disappeared. In bold you had written: A GOOD NURSE ALWAYS CARES.

Your body wasn't cooperating, and he knew exactly what to say to break you entirely. And, he found the perfect opportunity for that. He raised his gaze and looked at you with a wide grin. "You want to help people. You want to care for them, is that it?"

You nodded slowly as your eyes kept uncontrollably filling up with tears. "Yes. My dream...as a nurse. I accepted the job in St Louis because I wanted to...to...help as many people as I could. To prove that no one is unworthy of a second chance."

He chuckled again and took a step closer. He was just a few inches away from you now. He could see your face, the tears running freely down your cheeks. "That's...admirable, I suppose."

He chuckled and snapped the notebook shut.

You didn't know why he wasn't just killing you yet—why he was toying with you instead of simply ripping you apart. You had read their files. You knew their story. He was clearly enjoying this, seeing you trembling uncontrollably, your body betraying you, with your knees shaking.

He stood in front of you and tapped the top of your head with your notebook. "You wanted to help people, huh? Well, I guess you're in for a really big disappointment, little nurse...Cause I'm afraid that's just not gonna happen."

You shivered. "Even if l...do not manage to help you. I hope that at least my notebook will survive. So others can succeed where I failed."

He was slightly taken aback by that. He didn't really expect that response from you. His cold gaze wandered over your face, watching the tears run down your cheeks. "You are a real piece of work. Still trying to help us even in your last moments."

You shook your head weakly, your voice shaking as well now. "It's...my job to help. A good nurse…..should only…..think about helping others..."

You heard him laugh again, a low and cruel laugh. "Oh, I see, so you're just a good little nurse, right? Just trying to get your job done. Well, sweetheart, I'm sorry to disappoint, but you've got another thing coming. You could be a genuine saint and you still wouldn't get out of here alive."

You closed your eyes. "Like I said...A good nurse should only think about helping others." You forced your heart to slow down before staring straight at Pennywise. *...And I am a damn good nurse."

He gave you a cold, hard smile. "You have standards. And you are good. Almost good enough to not want to rip to shreds."

Pennywise and his brother chuckled. They were both clearly amused by the entire situation. They were toying with you, playing with you, before they finally got to rip you apart. And for some reason, Pennywise was oddly intrigued by your determination.

Despite his sadistic nature, he...almost felt some sort of strange respect. "Damn good?That you are. Damn smart too. You know exactly how this is gonna end for you."

You closed your eyes, your body shaking like a leaf. "I...am a nurse. And I don't give up on patients. No matter who or what they are. It is my duty and my wish."

He laughed at that. "That's also gonna be your death. Literally."

You laughed before you could stop yourself.

He was taken aback by the sound of your laugh. You were still on the verge of sobbing, your body still shaking...but you were laughing nonetheless.

They both looked at each other, clearly intrigued by your behavior now. You were supposed to be crying, pleading for mercy... you were supposed to beg. And instead...you were laughing.

Pennywise crouched down in front of you, his expression serious once more and his voice harsh. "Why are you laughing, huh?!"

You shrugged. "You made a joke."

He chuckled, but then quickly went back to looking serious and annoyed. "We're going to kill you. You should be terrified."

"I am."

He furrowed his brow. "You tryin' to use psychological tricks to try and buy yourself some time or something? Ain't gonna work."

You shrugged again, trying to calm your shaking down to a minimum. "No...l mean it. I have found most of our conversations to be quite enjoyable so far."

He was just getting more and more confused.

This was not at all how things were supposed to go. The victims were supposed to be scared, they were supposed to be begging for their lives... and somehow, you were laughing and having fun?

He just...couldn't understand.

Penny shrugged before opening his mouth wide to take a bite but instead closed his mouth last second and kissed your cheek.

The three of you stilled. The...kiss felt strange, not at all what you had expected. Your heart was still racing, but you had felt a weird...pang at the gesture. It felt rather...nice. Which was a pretty messed up thing to think right now, being stuck between two psychopathic killer clowns.

Pennywise snapped. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT ?!"

Penny humphed. "I was gonna take a bite but my mouth just...wouldn't."

You tried your absolute hardest not to burst out laughing.

Pennywise was glaring at his brother with his jaw clenched, trying to keep his rage in check. "What'd you go and do that for, huh?! What is WRONG with you?!"

Penny remained nonchalant, still playing with your hair. "I just...didn't feel like taking a bite..."

Pennywise gritted his teeth, struggling to remain calm. "Why the HELL not?! She's right here! She's prey! Food!" Pennywise wildly gestured towards you.

Penny simply shrugged again. "I just...didn't feel like it, alright?"

Pennywise growled and put a hand to his forehead. "You IDIOT. How could you not feel like taking a bite?! You're supposed to be a predator. Not a pet!"

This time, Penny humphed unhappily and only looked away with a bratty attitude. "I don't know...l just didn't."

This was clearly not going well for Pennywise, who was getting more and more annoyed and irritated. "A snack is presented right in front of you! And you?! You're letting her talk and laugh and manipulate you!"

At this point, Penny was just ignoring his brother, still playing with your hair, while his brother was struggling to keep his rage under control. You couldn't help it, you let out another small laugh. This was all so strange. Two psychopathic, cannibal clowns were arguing back and forth like little kids….

Suddenly, Pennywise grabbed your arm and pulled it towards him. "Okay! Fine! I'll do it then!"

Pennywise opened his mouth wide to take a bite...but froze. The situation was just getting weirder by the minute. Both brothers were at a complete standstill, And, it was kind of hilarious, to be honest.

Pennywise was just...frozen in place. He was gritting his teeth, trying to force himself to do it, but he was unable to.

Penny huffed. "What are you waiting for then?"

He stayed completely still, teeth bared, eyes locked onto your neck. But he just...couldn't. He just...couldn't bring himself to chomp down and rip your flesh. He was completely frozen, and his brother was looking at him with an amused smug look on his face.

He just...couldn't do it.

Pennywise eventually roared. "DO NOT RUSH ME!"

Penny raised his hands in mock surrender, still amused. "I didn't say anything. I'm just watching the show."

Pennywise was struggling to keep calm. "SHUT...SHUT THE HELL UP! I'll do it. I will."

He took you and opened his mouth wide again...and again. "Just... Just give me a second." He was trying to force himself to do it. He tried to make himself bite down, but he just...couldn't. Pennywise was clearly getting frustrated, and even you were starting to realise that something was off, because he was struggling way too hard to do something that should have been second nature to him.

You looked at Pennywise curiously. "... Maybe you lost the taste? I mean...we have been feeding you animal meat for a long while. It happens."

Pennywise gritted his teeth. He was really getting furious now. "Shut up, will you?!"

There was an odd desperation in his tone of voice now, and that just confused you even more. Pennywise was still trying to bring himself to take a bite, but his body was just... refusing to comply.

You watched as he struggled, his breathing fast and heavy now. He just...couldn't do it.

Penny suddenly burst out laughing as he mocked Pennywise.

Pennywise shot Penny a death glare. "WILL YOU SHUT THE HELL UP?! WHAT THE HELL IS SO DAMN FUNNY?!

Penny wiped a tear from his eye and shrugged, his grin growing wider. "YOU CAN'T DO IT EITHER!"

While all of this was happening, you were just sitting there, your adrenaline slowly starting to lessen now that you had not being ripped to shreds. You were also incredibly confused and curious about what was going on between the two brothers. Both of them seemed to be experiencing a phenomenon that they did not understand, while you were just there, watching the entire thing unfold...and starting to realize something very important about these two.

While they were both distracted, you started to really look them over. Their behaviors, their manners of speaking...they were clearly more human than animal. They had human minds.

They weren't just some mindless monsters, they were... more complex than that. And now that you had seen their bickering and arguments, the way they interacted with each other...you were beginning to realise that they cared about each other, they had feelings and emotions...and they also seemed to like you. A lot.

Then you heard footsteps coming your way and House suddenly appeared at the door of the cell. He looked inside and saw you. "Y/N !" He quickly unlocked the door and before the two clowns could change their minds, you jumped out of the cell. Penny and Pennywise immediately turned around, but they didn't have the time to grab or stop you.

House slammed the door behind you and locked it.

He then wrapped an arm around your shoulders and started to lead you away. Once back in your office, you collapsed on the couch. "McCain is crazy. He locked me up in there to prove a point..."

House sighed. "I know he did. That's why I came as fast as I could." He paused for a moment, looking up and down at you. "But... you don't seem hurt. Anything wrong? No bites or anything?"

You shook your head. "No."

He was surprised by that. The entire time that you were in that cell, he thought that the brothers would have torn you to pieces. But no. They didn't even lay a finger on you. "...You were in that cell for at least an hour... and they didn't try anything?"

You hesitated. "They tried but…..couldn't."

He raised a quizzical eyebrow at you and sat down next to you. "What do you mean 'couldn't'?"

You shrugged. "I don't know."

He looked at you, clearly confused, but he could also tell that you were shaken up. He moved a little closer to you and gave you a reassuring pat on the back. "Well...whatever happened in there...you're fine now. They're locked up and you're good."

You nodded and sighed before simply leaning into him. "How did you manage to convince McCain to let me out?"

House smirked. "I didn't. I punched him in the face and stole his keys."

You couldn't help but snort. "Of course you did."

He chuckled and gave you a small squeeze. "You're one of the best nurses in this hospital. A good nurse shouldn't get locked up with two vicious, homicidal...cannibalistic..." He paused, his expression becoming more serious. "Also...I guess I just didn't want you to die.'

You smiled but still were incredibly exhausted and wanted to sleep so badly and forget about the events that had just occurred, but you knew it would be impossible...

House looked down at you. "You want to lie down?"

You sighed. "I want a cheeseburger..."

He scoffed. "Of course you do..." He paused for a moment, then seemed to notice something in your expression—a sort of tiredness that wasn't just about physical exhaustion. "Is that really what you want...or do you just want to get your mind off things after what happened?"

You shrugged. "Both. I like the patients but a little bit of human interaction would do me some good."

He nodded. He could tell that you needed some time away from not just the hospital itself, but everything that was related to it.

"Alright then." He stood up, then held a hand out for you. "Come on. Let's get out of here for a few hours."

You smirked. "Are we escaping for a night? That feels illegal."

He chuckled a little bit and rolled his eyes. "If McCain wants to deal with a situation tonight, he can do it himself." He then noticed that you were still sat down.

He raised a quizzical eyebrow at you. "Are you coming or not?"

He stood there, a hand still held out for you, waiting for you to take it. He was going to get you out of here, if only for a few hours, and if McCain had a problem with it...

Well...he would deal with it.

He smiled as you took his hand and stood up, and he gave you a little nod. "Let's go." He knew that you had just gone through something traumatic, and he could feel your hand shaking slightly in his grip.

He gave it a little squeeze, hoping to keep your nerves down. You closed your eyes and finally stepped out of the hospital.

Hi!

If you dont have too many requests, how would the slashers react to being given some baked good by the nurse? I feel like some would love it and others would just be like "is this poison? Are you poisoning me?"

PENNYWISE

For Pennywise and Penny, meat pies are in order. They would throw up anything else. Pennywise would appreciate the gesture and devour that meat pie in one big gulp. He loves goat meat the most and enjoys the taste of it. Unfortunately, he’s not exactly the most expressive when it comes to compliments.

"Good thing you brought me that pie, or you would have been dinner."

But you would still find a normal cherry pie on your windowsill later. Pennywise would deny all allegations that it was him, but you would still know by the way he enjoys watching YOU eat the pie he brought you.

PENNY

Penny would stare at it, sniff it, lick it then open his mouth as wide as he can get it to devour that meat pie. Penny’s tastes are far more…exotic than his brother. He enjoys the taste of reindeer or hart meat the best.

He likes wild beasts and the rarest the better. To be honest, he’s quite the picky eater. So he would be far less easy to please than his brother. But would still thank you with a great big smile if he knew you had baked him something.

"YAY! THANK YOU!" *proceeds to give your cheek a loud smack* (Ignore the drool and the obvious fact that he would have preferred a piece of you in that pie. 😅)

ARTHUR FLECK

Arthur would take your hand and kiss the back of it. "Thank you, sweetie. You know how much I enjoy these sweet treats."

Arthur has a sweet tooth. But when he lived with his mother, he didn’t dare buy anything too sweet because his mother would blame him for wasting money. After a while, eating became less and less a pleasure and more of a tedious duty than anything else.

But with you, he started enjoying the taste of things again. You were too worried about his obvious lack of interest in food and had made sure to make him try everything you did.

Actually, you were quite proud of the little weight he had put on thanks to you. ☺️

JACK TORRANCE

"For me?" He would looked down at the snickerdoodle cookies in front of him and smile. He was such a sucker for these when he was a kid. Couldn’t believe you had actually remembered that.

"Thanks, darlin’." He took one bite and chewed loudly in appreciation. "Oh yeah…That’s the stuff."

Happiest man on earth. He would literally kill for another batch of those. He would of course be your first regular customer and taste tester.

Would also sniff around the kitchen the moment you step inside to see if there’s anything he can steal. 😏

BO SINCLAIR

"…What ya makin’, darlin’?" Bo would 100% come snooping around. But unlike Jack Torrance, Bo is scared shitless of Michael, and since the kitchen is usually Michael’s territory he would stay at the door and just try to sneak a peak. 😂

One day, you made an apple pie for him and Vincent. But what he ABSOLUTELY loved was the fact that you had made sure to make two sides different with a little more apples for him and more cinnamon for Vincent.

You had actually made sure to remember that the twins have different tastes. Vincent was happy to have more flavor and Bo was happy to find more crunch under his teeth.

But when you tried to leave, Bo didn’t hesitate before grabbing you and sitting you down on his lap. "Nah…where ya goin’? Gotta taste your own creation, missy/mister."

NORMAN BATES

Norman is usually the man of the house. He cleans, bakes and takes care of everything. One day you wanted to reward him and decided to bake something from his special baking recipe book.

You found the recipe for a decadent chocolate cake with chocolate chips and chocolate ganache. Death by chocolate. Literally.

You baked it and served it to him. He stared at it for a moment before kissing your wrist in thanks and dug in.

…You didn’t expect it when you suddenly saw him tear up.

You thought it was really bad, but he quickly wiped his tears away and whispered. "It’s delicious. I just…It makes me think of what my mother used to bake. I have tried many times to replicate it…but you managed to do it perfectly. Thank you, my dove."

BRAHMS AND JASON

Brahms and Jason have the exact same palate. They’re food brothers. They are chocolate chip cookies’ biggest fans.

Problem would be…these boys are BIG EATERS.

Meaning to feed one, you would need at least 50 cookies each. And even then? You are not sure they would last the day. They don’t know the meaning of tomorrow.

They see or smell baked goods? It’s over for you. They’ll be following you all over the hospital like puppies expecting treats.

But the good side is…once they are done eating, they usually take long naps. So they wouldn’t really be any trouble. But then again, they could also just grab you and make you their shared plushie for the rest of the afternoon. Depends on the day.

MICHAEL MYERS

Michael would stare at the baked good you made for him and just look at you curiously—as if asking ‘that’s for me?’. He would then enjoy the sweet treat—no matter what. See…with Michael it is hard to have an opinion.

Because first of all he is the master of poker face, and second even if it was bad he would lie to you. Because you made that for him, you poured your heart and soul into it.

You thought of him while making it.

He would eat that up, even if it was disgusting and tell you that it is the best thing he’s ever eaten in his life.

FREDDY KRUEGER

Freddy…Freddy would eat a slice of pizza he found on the street and tell you it’s gourmet. He quite literally one day ate a full bag of rotten eggs to prank Jason by burping loudly next to him.

Serve him a shoe on a plate, he will eat the shoe and the plate.

But he would also appreciate you actually baking something for him. "Thanks, sweetheart! Loved that banana bread."

PATRICK BATEMAN

"…It’s not terrible." That’s it.

I want you to know the following at once, there was a small inconvenience when I made that video of the deadlights with Ramstein's music, I used a gif for it which had a watermark which I ACCIDENTALLY deleted because I'm clumsy with those things, it was my first video and well I learned from my mistake, I will make a new video but without using gifs with watermarks and in general it will be taking images from videos as such

I will not give more details about it, I do not want to expose the person who had made that gif, the person sent me a message and told me to delete it, I explained my clumsiness, I apologized, I told they where I found the material (pinterest, like almost everything I use in my blogs that are mainly screenshots) I asked they for permission to use it again now without deleting the watermark, which again, I did not delete it on purpose.

And they told me that they don't give me permission to use they GIFs anywhere, and that's fine, I respect that because I'll be able to recognize their GIFs by their watermark.

And I think that anyone who has followed me on my blog for a while knows well that I don't wish to cause harm to anyone in any way, even that is why I was so specific with my life in my pinned post, I don't mess with anyone in general and I don't want anyone messing with me.

But regarding the GIFs, I'll just say this once and for all, since I don't know if the person will make a public announcement accusing me of being a thief or something and if other GIF content creators or things like that will start blocking me, which is the least of my worries, since anyone who has read my pinned post knows it and anyone who has spoken to me privately knows it even more, so this is what I have to say.

The most I can do when I use something that isn't mine like a gif or an screenshot or something similar, is to tag or give credit in some way, and when I know who the creator is, I do so without hesitation. Anyone who has followed me since February, when I started this project to analyze the Pennywise canon, knows this.

OH! also, I don't have Stephen King's permission to analyze and upload these analyses of his intellectual property, both from the cinematic universe and the book.

Also, not wanting people to use of GIFs that weren't created by oneself or commissioned is a kind of "gatekeeping." Furthermore, we can't claim ownership of certain content that has already been created (in this case, the entire current IT saga) and is easily accessible (watching the movies and the series on HBO and videos on YouTube about that content). Even if we create another format to show the same thing, in this case, a GIF, the function of a GIF is also to be used as a reaction and expression, or other similar things like stickers, so we can communicate better with each other on social media. It's not theft in the strictest sense; it's a type of "public domain" for internet users, unless it was created from scratch, which isn't the case with these GIFs created from the IT movies or the IT: Welcome to Derry series. Instead, the entire production team created this content from scratch and didn't give anyone on the internet permission to make GIFs. So, anyone who makes a GIF or takes a screenshot and posts it online without their permission is practically stealing from them if we're going to be that strict.

Keep in mind that nobody has permission permission from Stephen King, HBO, or Rodeo FX to make those GIFs, much less to add our own watermark to upload them to the internet. If I see GIFs with watermarks, I obviously leave them on when using them (which, I repeat, was my mistake in removing your watermark when making the video, and I'll learn from my errors, obviously). And if I can, I tag the creator of the GIF if I know they have a Tumblr account. If it doesn't have a watermark, I can't tag anyone or give credit to anyone, but I also don't give myself credit as if I created them. And again, I find almost everything on Pinterest, and I generally only use screenshots that don't even have watermarks for obvious reasons.

If someone wants to block me for things like that, that's what worries me the least, I'm more focused on my mental and physical health as well as my daily activities for the home, as well as helping my mother and paying bills, I will continue to focus on this project that is for myself but it is also for you, you have expressed to me how much you like it and that it even helps you create fanfics or even fanart and I am very happy to know it, and yes, I know that one day my material could be used without permission by someone else and no. They will give me credits because that's how the internet is.
