Dream: Pet Mannequin
I dreamed that my family had two pets: a unruly cat and and ‘a Mannequin’. This meant Mannequin from Worm, with his creepy blades and lack of a face and everything. We fed him and petted him and he slept curled up in the kitchen. I did not until i woke up realize how bizarre and silly it was to have a pet supervillain.
(Very unusually for a dream, the layout of my childhood home was accurate.)
I got into a fight with the cat, who tried to attack me. I had to fight back viciously, which saddened me (as it should have!). Later that day, i also got into a fight with Mannequin. I was affronted and shocked that he would betray my trust. I really should not have been surprised. I won the fight, and Mannequin raised his hands to indicate ‘Fine, fine, i’ll stop attacking you’ and stalked off.
