Based on the feedback from Pete Bishop, I have redone my whole show reel according to his response. I have added the title sequences I have done for the past 3 years. I have edited the ending scene where I thank all the tutors who taught me in animation.
Hedgehog in the Fog (1975) (engsub)
Pete Bishop had sent us an animated film to watch that I think he enjoyed watching. I have spent 10 minutes watching the film and have made my own opinion about it.
I think the story looks good to watch, but the animation didn’t make my fond of the story.
The animation looks stop motion because of the movement of the characters. After effects may have been involved to make some CGI effects for the story. It must have been for the fog in the background. The characters look like they were cut out from paper. It’s stop motion, but in 2-D.
Business Cards
Today, Pete Bishop had just come into our lecture with a packed of business cards. He has shared them around with us and I have had a chance to research one of these people’s names.
I tried to research Bianca Howell, but there was no profile about her, and I don’t think that she is the same woman. So I tried to research Yuki Shimahara who is, from what the card says, is an illustrator and a graphic design. He works in freelance, illustrating art pictures and posting them onto Behance. He uses Photoshop to do the illustrations, and that his work is based in Tokyo.
These business cards have got me thinking about what to add for my business card and how to improve it. Most card have written information on the backs, so that will be the method I’ll think to do for my Card.

I have went with him through what I have been doing for my Graphic novel.
I have explained to him that I am half way through until its complete. He likes the backgrounds of the other dimension and the cracks appearing over Dasher's face.
I have told him my plans for my CV presentation I have been working on. The Dasher image where the main character holding a torch might makes a good business card.
I have presented my semester 2 planner to Pete. He says that I'm doing great and that I should put it into my PowerPoint presentation for Thursday.
My line and body shaping has improved. Pete loves the proportions.

I have meet Pete Bishop today as he and the other graphic novelists have gathered to look at my Graphic novel. I have explained what is happening on each page, but as I did I was stuttering. I wasn’t really proud of that.
Pete had liked everything that I have shown him. He told me that it is a nice idea to include animation and to look for what is animated. When I showed him and the others my poster designs and explained that I used sketch-app to build these poster, he said the characters feel like a family- like that come from the same place. I have been thinking about a cliff hanger to my graphic novel to show that there is more to the story, almost like a post-credit scene. Pete likes the fact that my Graphic novel is located.

He has gone through my Cartoon Bible and he has liked everything I have done so far. Pete has told me that I have put a lot of effort into my bible. He and I agreed that it is perfect.
We have been looking at how much my bible costs on Blurb and on book-wright. We were unable to find it anywhere which gave me some anxiety. Pete had reassured me not to think about the cost at the moment. He is going to contact Mario and I will have a word with him on Thursday.
Meanwhile, he has looked at my storyboard pages of my graphic novel for Dasher broken reality. He is impressed by the amount of pages I have done. I have told him that I am going to clean them up when I start doing the actual novel some point in the beginning of 2020.

I have shown him the animatic on my introduction of Star Bird Valiant, and he has liked it all. I explained to him that I am currently working on the sound effects of the introduction, and Pete has given me something to think about. When I animated the introduction on Toom Boom, I have to make the lettering stand out of the background of space, because the lettering is merging with the black lines of the planets.
We had a look at one of my episode sample scripts because I had explained to him that I was struggling to upload it onto my cartoon bible. I told Pete that I was trying to find out how I could export the script into a Jpeg file so that it will go into my cartoon bible. Pete is currently looking into the problem right now.
