how are you doing today? pretty good? surely not better than etho, because nobody can be better than etho - oh, except, that's a little mean.

readmore in case i get around to doing a transcript. also, full disclosure, i swear on my life i looked so long for non-ethubs clips and i left out a considerable sampling of both armor- and horse-related competition because it didn't focus on being better than you; similarly, one clip of nebris saying he's better didn't make it (no response from etho) and etho explaining his ping contributing to losing to pause in uhc also didn't feel about being "better" enough. so there are other instances but they were weak. etho and bdubs are just, um, Like That, and bdubs is a big exception to etho's sense of politeness.

if i had a nickel for every time etho made a joke at bdubs' expense to conclude something and then in a much, much, much quieter voice said "just kidding bdubs" and followed that with something (also very quiet) nice i think i'd only have two nickels. which honestly is a little low but since everyone knows about last life i love you i thought i should mention this s7 shaming moment too

Bdubs: Um, so, believe it or not - and people [laughs] - so, I started my YouTube channel on 420? April 20th? Of 2011. It wasn't - it wasn't, Bdubs got, he got into some stuff and decided, "Oaugh, I'm gonna make a YouTube channel tonight!" Uh, just coincidental, but, uh. Blaze it!

Etho: I'll manage the downstairs, everything below ground. You'll take care of the mountain and all that.

Bdubs [overlapping]: I got the upstairs. Yeah, no problem.

Bdubs: So Etho - I got a feeling he'd prefer, prefer no fanfare. Let me come back, let me do my thing and get into the groove. That's my guess. So we will probaly just let him join - like when you're trying to get a rabbit to come over to you, you know. You don't chase the rabbit! You chase the rabbit, it's gonna think, "Oh! What a [indecipherable noises] a threat, I have to run!" No. With - you hould out the food and you say, Here's this delicious Hermitcraft server. He's my beautiful Monolith that I made, that you can come and do a prank on.

Etho: And look at this, the Hermits are helping me out already. Check this out. Community garden, look at this. Carrots for days.

Etho: Bdubs, are you here, are you home? Helloooo? I can't hear you. He's not responding for some reason. Bdubs! I'm gonna live in your BASEment, if that's OK. Just let me know. Just blink twice if you don't want me to live here. Well, I didn't hear anything, OK. Uhhhh, how does this work? Ahhh, candles go out, and then I go in. Bdubs: If Etho comes back - if and when he comes back, we are all going to beat him to death. For taking so long. [laughs] Nooooo.

Etho: Mhm. I'm holding you to that. Forever. Even when you say stop, I'm holding you to it.

Bdubs: [laughing] Meaning you're gonna do it right in my face.

Etho: OK, I'm stealing your place here.
