New art project, freshly finished 💖
My art for @invisobang this year!
Also stay tuned for my partner @idiot-cheesehead-archenemy 's fic, Alone Together! (I'll reblog this post with the link when it goes up.)
[Image Description: Danny, in ghost form, leans away from a microphone held by Harriet Chin. His eyes are wide and his hands are clasped over his mouth, as if he's said something that he didn't mean to. The scene is dark, lit only by Danny's glow.]
Bonus funky version:
[Image Description: The same image as above, but with more intense lighting. Danny also has a glowing EKG line behind his head. The left half of the line is normal, but the right half is flat, as if Danny's heart has stopped.]
Imagine, for a moment, that you're a Conodont (a tiny, prehistoric snake-like boy) and you're swimming along, looking for food.
You feel the water move by your tail, and you look to see this.
It's the last thing you see before you die.
[Image Description: A Sacabambaspis (finless, jawless prehistoric fish) looms in the middle-foreground, looking right at the viewer. Her eyes are large and round and shiny, and her maw is immovable, perpetually open in a silly, gaping grin.
She's round and half-mossy-green and half-white, and has some gill slits along her sides and some sensory depressions along her spine.
In the background, a Conodont flees, and in the foreground, a different Conodont's tail ("your" tail, for the purpose of this post) wafts out, until it eventually touches the Sacabambaspis and floats to the side, offscreen.]
This post was inspired by a Discord message I sent while some friends and I were talking about Sacabambaspis, in which I postulated that it was a predator, because of its front-facing eyes.
I've since done some more research, and learned that they were likely filter-feeders, due to their jawlessness and lack of teeth, but they did have a set of bony plates in their mouths, that likely moved in order to provide suction.
I couldn't find much in the way of what they actually ate, but I could see them being opportunists who would totally munch on the Forbidden Spaghetti.
(Conodonts, thought to be the world's oldest vertebrates, were long, skinny lil guys with huge, side-facing eyes and maws filled with jagged dental plates (tons of em, actually), but one of the only two (2) sources that I could find in regards to their actual size says that they were about 2mm in diameter, but up to 400mm long! Which are absolutely wild proportions lmao.)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the art! <3
Bonus wips:
Stakeout conversations
I genuinely hope I'm not the first one to think of this
[Image description: A mini comic with four images.
The first image is Danny Phantom and Kim Possible, sitting on a roof, at night, under a starry sky. Danny is facing to the side relative to the viewer, leaning against a brick wall, and Kim leans backward on her hands. Despite the fact that Danny is in ghost form, and Kim is in her mission outfit, they both look relaxed, just hanging out and talking. Kim asks a question of some sort (left vague, denoted by a single question mark), and Danny starts, "Well..."
The second image is a closeup of Danny's eyes as he looks away, off to the side. He explains, "I... I didn't know they were clones, okay? Or how unstable they were, so... I fought them like I would any other ghost, and... They destabilized. Nothing but bubbly, green goo."
The third image is a closeup of Kim as she replies nonchalantly, "Oh yeah, that happened to me, too. It was no big, though, all I had to do to melt them was spray them with soda." She further muses, "Same green goo and everything. I always thought the bubbling was from the soda, though..."
The final image is a closeup of Danny's face, shocked and horrified. He utters a single "What."]
Wanted a pic of Phantom faceplanting recently, and was appalled to find that I couldn't find one! So I made one :) Huge thanks to @skellagirl for doing the highlights!!! She did an amazing job and I could not be happier <3
(Bottom right is the transparent version)
Reposting (again) because it's Pride Month now (and I added more shinies)! I made a bunch of little transparent blob ghosts!
Don't see your flag? Let me know and I can probably make it!

Transparent blob ghosts! This one has the disability flag for disability pride month.
Looking for lgbtqia flags? Try part 1 and part 2 (I had to split it up into two photosets), or if I haven't made a flag you want, let me know and I can probably make it!
