so when i first started getting into the batfam fandom, i created a pinterest board. as one does. but i have this thing where i hate naming pinterest boards just a fandom name, like "DC" or "Marvel". it's always gotta be something different, just for my peace of mind.

at the time, i was still very much of the mindset that i didn't actually like DC THAT much. i was like, "sure. i kind of enjoy this fandom. every once in a while a read a fic from it. the fanart is cool. i've watched a few movies. whatever".

after naming a pinterest board, i usually don't ever read the name again. i recognize it by the cover, that's it.

today i read the name and was abruptly reminded how in-denial i'd been when i made the board

"DC...eugh except for these guys"

now, that's not that funny until i tell you that, in the beginning, what it meant was the batfam. i only liked the batfam. that was the only content i saved. but now, i save everything. so i have a board named my equivalent of "fuck this fandom except for these characters" and then it's like. every character. every damn character is on that board.
