thinking of vampire!piper mclean...

being her bestfriend who knows that shes a vampire, but she never lets you pry about it no matter how curious you were.

falling in love with her charming voice and kind eyes, you couldnt help but love her. it was impossible to avoid. needing to abstain but shes just so...you finally understand pirates and their sirens.

having a sleepover with her one night, the lights dim and stars glittering through the window....shes laying beside you and your staring at how the subtle light shines against the profile of her face.

you slowly inch closer to her, hand brushing pipers. her skin is so cold, you want to warm her up. her head turns to look at your own, her eyes shifting to something else. you want it to be love your seeing, but its something else. you know it is.

even then, you inch nearer to her. your breath fans across her face, her lips parting, then pressing together. your eyes flutter, making the final shift forwards.

your lips brush hers, slow at first and then much hungrier in a moments time. your tongue pressed the seam of her lips, dipping into her mouth.

she shifts her body on top of yours, draping herself on you. she sighs, hand tracing your chest and wrapping against the side of your neck. her thumb swipes at your pulse.

your tongue dips into her mouth, exploring the space. your tongue brushes her teeth, brows furrowing as you feel sharp, prominent canines. you starts to pull away for a breath but her other hand pressed into the back of your head, keeping you both pressed together.

you know what they are then, letting her pull you closer. your tongue presses against the sharp tip of the teeth, allowing them to draw a little blood from your tongue. you can barely taste the metal before she laps it up, hungry.

her thigh slides between yours. your breath grows heavy, practically panting into her mouth now. she moves down to your jaw, licking your now hot skin. it feels like it burns, even with pipers cool hand against your neck.

"piper..." you breathe out, hands moving to curl into her hair. she presses her face into your neck with a little whine, like shes upset. you feel her pout against your neck, as if shes holding back from something.

her teeth slowly drag against your neck, "please, pip.." your voice eggs her on. you want her to take what she yearned for so dearly, you had from the moment she told you.

Piper, not for the first time in her life, didn't know what to do.

After her quest with the seven, she had returned back to Camp Half-blood and usurped Drew as the head counselor. and after annabeth left, it was difficult. she had lost the guidance of one of her bestfriends, and was alone at camp.

leo was around, but he was caught up as the hepheastus cabin counselor, jason was in New Rome, percy and annabeth went back to school...it left piper alone to ramble around camp until she figured out what she wanted to do.

that's when you came in.

you, the strong, caring, and responsible daughter of apollo. you arrived at camp a few years before piper, and took up the role as counselor so that will could be a kid. it was a heartwarming story, and it only made piper like you more.

when you both met, all she could think of was your kindness, your willingness to help her get the hang of things. teaching her everything from how to get good inspections to how to charm chiron out of punishments (she didnt need help with that, but she sat and listened to you talk anyways).

like just a few weeks ago, she had worn a pretty dress to the camp welcoming party. summer campers came back and the hermes cabin threw a party to celebrate. you had complimented her three seperate times, and it kept her warm for the whole night.

well, that is until she saw you pressed up against some tree kissing a daughter of demeter.

she went back ot her cabin early that night, tears brimming her eyes. even despite the image that plagued her mind, she couldnt help but wish it was you when she had peeled her dress off, couldnt help but wish you were laying beside her.

her siblings eventually stumbled back into the cabin, laying their heads on silk pillows, curled up in frilly blankets. but piper lay awake, thinking of taking the daughter of demeters spot, thinking of being that close to you.

she avoided you for a couple days after that, before you snuck into her cabin and woke her up to sit by the lake and talk. she didn't bring up that night.

tonight, like that night, she was sat with you. the sun had gone down, leaving the stars to glitter through the sky and wind to whistle.

you both sat in a small treehouse not far into the forest, squished together on the thin matress that lay on the floor. she didnt know how you found this place, but she knew that if she couldnt find you, youd probably be here.

she turned on her side, eyes trailing down the side of your face as you spoke. she couldnt draw her eyes away, not even to pretend that she wasn't only focusing on your lips. the way she was looking at you wasnt friendly.

the dim lamp lit your face, guiding a warm glow up the side of your face. pink cheeks, tired eyes, low voice....she was having a hard time resisting the urge to ruin the moment.

turns out, she didn't need to do a thing. because you soon turned your head, meeting her eyes. her face had moved closer to your own, trying to capture the image better.

now, your face was so close, and your lips were red, bitten and slightly chapped. she wanted to know what that felt like, to know what it was like to be one of the girls you brought back home.

"what?" you murmured in questioned, being much more careful than piper about where your eyes were going.

piper inched closer, "nothing.." she brushed off your question. her mind was too fogged now, too cloudy to think about what her next actions might mean.

you were not slow to understand what she was feeling, not in the slightest. you knew what that look meant, you had seen it on girls a million times before. though, it really only mattered when it was piper.

your mind bounced back to that party a few weeks ago, how you had felt kissing that random girl. you didnt even know her name, you just needed a good way to draw your attention from how good piper had looked in that tiny little dress.

"pip..." she didnt reply, only sat up on her forearm, leaning closer.

it was impossible to move, not that you would dare think of breaking this moment. it was too special, too fleeting.

she leaned down, dipping her head so that her lips were practically brushing your own. you could damn near taste her breath as she spoke, "tell me to stop."

her soft whisper floated to your ears, but nothing more. all you could manage was a shake of your head, eyes threatening to flutter closed.

she took it as an invitation, hesitating only a moment before firmly pressing her lips to yours. it was everything you had hoped for, the feeling of her soft, plush lips on yours.

it lasted no more than a few seconds before she pulled back, eyes searching your face. you sat up, chasing her lips and tugging her into a second kiss.

this time it was comfortable, the seal broken. lazy, warm, and comfortable as she pressed her chest against yours. you could taste her strawberry chapstick, tongue darting out to swipe at the crease of her lips.

she pulled back again, and you settled back against the mattress. "I like you." she murmured, taking the risk.

one thing piper wouldn't stand for was a situationship or a quick hookup. not now, not with you. it would be too unbearable. she had to have something real - her love was too real to not say something.

you smiled, eternally grateful that she took the leap. you would've gone along with anything she did. she looked so stunning as she said it, propped up so close.

"I like you too, pip." you whispered, hand coming to her jaw. her cheeks were dusted pink; light freckles scattered across the golden skin.

she leaned against your hand, smiling softly. this was everything she had been wanting from the moment she met you. it was a dream come true that you reciprocated so easily.

safe to say, it was a long night full of blips of conversation between kisses, sharing stories about moments you both had liked each other and had wanted to confess.

Y/n doesn’t get why Piper is with Jason. He is literally a walking doosh bag! With his stupid purple shirt, his stupid special powers, his ‘important’ Godly father. She bets ten bucks that Zeus couldn’t care less for the blonde boy. Piper could do a lot better than Jason, really. He doesn’t fully understand her, or remember her. What is there to even love? It seems more like a forced relationship, made by the cold hearted Gods.

Y/n was sitting at the (whatever cabin you want)’s table, she was eating her bland camp food breakfast, wow this could use some more seasoning. She knew it was bad to ease drop on Piper, Leo, and Jason. But, she could hear Jason chatting with Piper and Leo.

“Do you guys think we’ll find this Percy Jackson guy?” Leo questioned Jason, he had oil all over his clothes already. He must have been working on the Agro II all night.

“Hopefully he is still even alive, from what I can remember…Camp Jupiter is not the most gentle,” Jason says in his usual annoying brooding voice. He is holding Piper’s hand underneath the table, how disgusting!

Y/n steals a look at Piper, she is stunning. Not just because she is a daughter of Aphrodite, but because of how she acts. She is level headed, she tries to make the best decisions and worries about the right things. Y/n really enjoys the way she focuses when they mention Percy, it’s honestly attractive. She wants to impress the people of her new life, her new home. The place where she will always fit in, no matter what.

Y/n hopes Piper will soon realize that she doesn’t even need to try to impress people, her vibe and personality are powerful enough to impress others.

The conversation between the trio is lost in between Y/n’s thoughts, she couldn’t care less now that her eyes were blessed with the sight of Piper.

Y/n and Piper were having a nice, but simple conversation on what arrows were better.

“I think true, pure wood blessed by Apollo is the best kind of arrow to use,” Y/n says as she pulls the string on her bow back, she aims and shoots, hitting the bullseye.

Piper shrugs, she doesn’t know her way around this whole demi-god world, she was only thrown into it a few weeks ago. Those few weeks were chaotic, at least she had Jason and a few good friends to anchor her down from the turmoil of her life.

“I think i’ll take your word for a fact, you aree kind of a professional in archery and what not,” Piper’s tone had a flirtatious undertone.

Y/n felt her cheeks heat up, she thought she heard Piper McLean flirting with her! Is Piper finally realizing that Jason isn’t all that? Yes, yes, yes!

“Oh, jeez,” Y/n rubs the nape of her neck. “I—I wouldn’t say all that.”

Y/n felt the blush creep up her neck, her ears and face felt significantly more hotter than the rest of her body, she cannot make eye contact with Piper or she’ll burst into flames. Well…that’s what Y/n thinks will happen.

Piper’s beautiful lips twitch into a smile, but it’s not because of Y/n.

“Piper,” Jason runs up to the two, successfully, and sadly, dodging the rouge arrows. “You’ll never guess what Leo added to the Argo II! You have to see this.

Piper nods, she looks at Y/n with a sympathetic expression. “Sorry, Y/n, I’ll catch up with you later, kay? I’ll see you around.”

And with that, Jason and Piper run off to where the Argo II ship is being constructed.

Y/n’s eyes follow Piper’s figure as she fades into the woods, she has never felt more alone than now. Maybe it’s best she should stop trying to chase after Piper, she is obviously distracted by that disgusting, brood, evil blonde. She still didn’t get why Piper wanted him, she probably never will. She will probably never stop chasing after the beautiful Cherokee girl whose sharp and graceful features will never stop amazing Y/n.
