Projectile Strife Specibus
Pistolkind covers the usage of pistols of all kinds as weapons. From the classic dual pistols your grandparents keeps as ornaments and unwisely allows their grandchildren to use, to the highly advanced laser pistols SBURB would no doubt allow to be Alchemized, to legendary chromatically colored pistol capable of killing anything with a single strike all these fall under the Pistolkind Abstratus.
Pistolkind is a pretty straightforward strife specibus, as expected of object originally designed as weapons. Pistolkind is typically used with a single pistol, with both hands clutching the gun. Others, however, have learned that they could dual wield the pistols âlike in a movieâ. There are two types of shooting the user could perform; Normal Shots are the sane type, being made to simply Damage the target, they're actually quite easy to perform. Trick Shots are the significantly less-sane type, and presumably only work due to SBURBâs Game Logic. These shots usually rely on the bullet or projectile ricocheting or shooting a specific spot of an object to make it fall apart. Needless to say, Trick Shots are significantly harder to make. Certain Trick Shots can only be made using pistols that have certain stats or features.
Pistolkind mostly uses Alacrity or Acumen as its Attribute, some pistols could even switch between either using a Feature!. Alacrity Pistols are quicker to shoot and reload, while Acumen Pistols are way more accurate, which is invaluable when performing Trick Shots. As a Firearms Abstratus, Pistols usually deal Medium Damage or higher, with Low Damage dealers being extremely rare. Pistols have ranges varying between Medium and Long, with a select few able to go even higher than that.
Light: A common type of pistol, usually used when the use of heavier arms are prohibited, or if the user to pack lightly. Light Pistols deal average Damage and have light enough recoil to carry and to wield in one hand. Popular choice for those seeking to dual wield their pistols.
Heavy: Another common type of pistol, this one significantly more encumbering and with greater recoil. Heavy Pistols deal more Damage than their Light and Silent counterparts, but have louder shots and greater recoil as a result. It is ill advised to attempt to dual wield such pistols unless the user has a truly remarkable level of Mangrit.
Silenced: The sneaky type of pistols one would normally find in spy movies. While normal Silenced Pistols still make a racket in the real world, SBURBâs Game Logic has rendered them nearly mute, allowing the user to use these weapons without voiding all attempts at stealth. Another common feature of these weapons are the ability to be easily concealed (or to be built as part of other objects, such as a gauntlet, a shield, or a puppet) and also lower Damage than usual.
âA hyper realistic model handgun your Guardian had bought and assembled. Its looks and feels so real, itâs weight, the feel of the metal, even the noises it makes. If you didnât know that all it shot was a harmless foam dart, you wouldnât even touch the thing. As it is, you can fool everyone else into thinking youâre packing heat, when you are, in fact, a room temperature trickster.â
Type: Fake Projectile Weapon - Damage: Miniscule - Attribute: Alacrity - Range: Medium
Hyper-Real Replica: The object resembles another object so closely, most would instinctively mistaken it for the other. In this case, everyone would think the model gun is an actual gun, this would allow the user to make Intimidation rolls as if they have an actual gun on hand.
âA fancy high tech pistol with a circular dial placed upon its side. Conveniently placed so that it could be adjusted with a flick of a thumb. Half of the dial is red, while the other half is blue, an arrow is perched on the top of the dial to indicate which option is chosen. The sides of the barrel has several grill like holes carved into them, holes which glow ominously with either a blue or red light, depending on how the dial is set.â
Type: Ray Projectile Weapon - Damage: Medium - Attribute: Alacrity - Range: Medium
Freeze Ray: While the dial on the side of the raygun is set to blue, this ability can be used. The pistol deals Cold Damage, and has a chance of dealing the Frostbite Status Effect.
Heat Ray: While the dial on the side of the raygun is set to red, this ability can be used. The pistol deals Fire Damage, and has a chance of dealing the Burning Status Effect.
