Pesto is great alternative to regular pizza sauce!

Yes! There is a pizza place across from where I live that makes a pizza with pesto sauce, cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella - it’s to die for. 

Great alternatives are - pumpkin sauce in the fall,  truffle sauce, artichoke sauce
