When I think about it now. It makes sense that greninja stays behind. Its BECAUSE hes special that he has to stay. People dont realize hes still technically ashs pokemon. He's just separate from the others at the lab.

Exactlyyyyy!!! Ash's Greninja had to stay behind, but it's loyalty is still to Ash, just like the 'mons sent to Oak!
