Do you think when Bardock stumbled into the bar and talked like a lunatic about "MY TEAM IS DEAD FREEZA WANTS TO KILL US COME ON WE'LL KILL HIM FIRST" that maybe at least one Saiyan was going along with the rest in their laughter but then quietly and quickly finished their drink before getting the fuck outta there?

"Hahaha, this guy amirite?" they say, chug down their mug in one gulp, head to the launching platform and just split. Turning off any and all communications, going to the ass end of the universe and lived a quiet life so as to not raise any attention from the Freeza Force.

And to this day they don't know if Bardock's incoherent ramblings were correct or not and always looks at the sky in fear, expecting either the Saiyans or the Freeza Force to show up and punish them for their desertion.

I dunno, just a funny scenario to think about.

Saiyan Language Headcannons I guess

I feel like Saiyans much like humans wouldnt have one language for the whole planet. Much how theres like Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Xhosa, Korean etc I feel like thered be different languages like on planet Sadala or smth.

But when the saiyan population dwindled and they moved to planet vegeta you have people from all different cultures and languages coming together so they just started using the universal common language (canonically japanese).

Like i feel like vegeta would have spoken it at home and stuff but since he was barely 5 or 6 he never knew much of his own language unless nappa taugh him on missions. Goku, Vegeta, and Broly have no clue what eachothers native languages are and most likely it wouldnt be the same.

Since Paragus and Broly lived together for so long tho Broly by far knows his own native language the most and since there was virtually no need for japanese on planet vampa its why he doesnt speak much japanese.

Goku ofc doesnt remember shit but Vegeta tries to hold on to whatever he knows and can still remember. He prolly passed it onto the kids but since its barely anything they still have to speak japanese at home.

Hello bros, this is my new hyperfiction. Since I saw the saga of Namek, I became really attached to this character.

Sorry for being inactive for so long, I have been busy these months with my studies, but anyway, enjoy the drawing!

Random stuff that I like to give/say about Saiyans in no particular order (and probably other people have said this as well):

• Size does matter. In height that is, because if you have a tall and a short Saiyan and expose them to the moon the tall Saiyan will have more control over themselves meanwhile the short Saiyan is just a monkey full of rage.

• Saiyans always have a physical aspect that makes them strong even if they have a low power level. For example:

— Bardock, Goku, Raditz, Gohan, Goten and Pan, all of them have a very thick and strong skull that allows them to deal an amazing amount of damage with their headbutts. But in Planet Vegeta this trait was always joked on because when the Saiyans with it reached puberty would spend hours on end hitting their heads against rocks until they broke.

— King Vegeta, Vegeta, Tarble, Trunks and Bulla, they have an incredible bite force that is closely followed by big and durable teeth and fangs.

Now this one was really respected in Planet Vegeta but it didn't mean you couldn't laugh at it because children with it were dangerous as hell, they will bite anything and everything within their reach, and these children were also the reason some Saiyans had short tails, because the kids could bite them off.

— Paragus, Broly and Turles have a really strong grip, and when it comes to the Ozaru form this one tends to have big claws.

Now this type of Saiyans always kept their arms as close to their body, and their hands were always closed, so really there wasn't much to poke fun at, but if you were in a relationship with a Saiyan with this trait you were very much considered lucky for "opening their hand".

• There's also the body language of the tail, because while I think that it mostly resembles the typical movements of monkey/cat tails there tents to be some uniqueness to it, and I have two examples.

— The first is when two Saiyans who are close friends or partners and some random wants to pick a fight, if Saiyan A does want to fight this person but Saiyan B doesn't want to then Saiyan's A tail will get a grip of Saiyan's B forearm. The reason for this is to make it clear to take you want to be taken out of the fight (after a few hits).

— And the second one is sex actually, basically it's Saiyan's A tail grabbing onto the forearm, thigh or waist of Saiyan B and slowly moving up and down in whichever part the tail grabbed. And as you can guess this signals that Saiyan A is interested in having sex with Saiyan B and is kinda like a courter ship.

Dragonball Pride headcannons because I can

Goku is the biggest straight ally. The one he doesn’t understand about the LGBT community is the amount of hate they get.

Master Roshi is also an ally. The amount of things that have happened to him has fully desensitized him to anything that would give a normal old man a heart attack.

The Frieza race are all bigenital and have no gender norms. So they can present themselves however they want to.

The Saiyan race has the two biological genders but no norms or restrictions based on gender. And being queer is normal.

Master Shen has been a closeted gay for the past 500 years. He only recently started to gain confidence to express it due to growing up in the homophobic times in history.
