Doing my own play therapy with my stuffies helps me work through my feelings about events in my life.
Mouse (left) is a bit nervous about her upcoming g-tube surgery, which has officially been scheduled for March 12th.
Her friend Birdie (right) is reminding her that it will only hurt for a little while, and when it heals, Mouse will have so much more energy and feel so much better in her body every day. She'll be able to do all the activities she loves, like nature walks and swimming and jujitsu, without getting exhausted and being forced to stop part way through.
Birdie is a good friend, and Mouse came away from the conversation feeling much better!
