Tbh I’ve just been really disappointed with tvl so far like as a fan of the book I feel like the flashbacks are being treated as an afterthought instead of literally the story being told, the budget for everything except the music feels so lacking and it’s just hard not to feel frustrated when scenes like the killing of the wolves and Lestats first meeting with akasha with Marius are glossed over/entirely written for the sake of another Lestat music video sequence :/ like why is the the episode of the show with the most actual content from the vampire Lestat still 2x3
