you know what i really want? someone please give me a rough around the edges boxer/underground fighter and a soft, sweet girl to love on him. she’s so delicate and soft spoken, constantly afraid that this fight is going to be his last. each time he comes home, she cleans him up and dresses his wounds -- only to beg him to stop. “let this one be your last fight, baby. i can’t take seeing you like this anymore.” yet she knows he loves what he does. their relationship would be filled with a lot of angst and fighting, but at the end of the day, they’d love each other with all of their hearts.
