Hey, how well do you think Ban Onaga would get along with Craig Cuttlefish?

Well, I think Frye's grandpa is as friendly as his granddaughter, but even though he too has extremely strong Splatlandian pride, I think he's too old to still be bent out of shape by Inkopolitans existing as Frye is lol. I think Ban would be friendly with the ol' Cap'n but exercise caution. Those weirdo Inkopolitans drove Octolings away for a solid century, you don't know what else they're capable of!

I do think they could get along quite well though! Share stories of the past over some crab cakes and tea, brag to each other about their wonderful talented grandchildren, play a few rounds of Tableturf... grandpa stuff!

Hey, Frye, you ever seen your grandfather carry around one of these? *shows you a khanda sword* I figure you'd be interested since you specialize in Splatanas. (OOC: In case you don't know, the khanda is a two-edged sword in Indian martial arts, venerated by the Rajput warrior tribes as a symbol of prestige.)

(Frye) Well, carrying around blades is more of a Hohojiro thing.. Onagas typically scrap alongside their eels — hand to hand! But thaaat.. gets a bit dangerous if your foe is armed. But that's besides the point! You're asking about my grandpa Yug! He does, yeah-hah! It's the most badass blade on the whole planet. Take a look!
