Orchid, Cheng and Shilah eat dinner with Priya’s Family. Well, half of Priya’s family because she made Amiya (the ghost) eat outside, while The Living discuss things like finances and work. Priya must have a soft spot for the undead because instead of letting Manny drink blood, she wants him to eat human food and makes him join in the macaroni and cheese dinner. He doesn’t eat much, the food only makes him sick. Shilah sits awkwardly between his mom and his Godmother. He doesn’t add to the conversation no matter how his moms try to ask him questions. He’s just not in the mood. Orchid suddenly excuses herself when Priya asks her about setting up a Private Practice - a subjet she knows DAMN well is contentious. Even though Cheng assures Priya that her wife is just tired, it’s becoming more and more obvious that Orchid isn’t coping as well as she says she is.
