The Revolution
anger and rebellion and all things that are lost, find a home in your soul, but at too great of a cost. a strange madness within you, has long unfurled, to start a revolution, to change the world.
A Sleeping Joe
Always on the go
There's a world he dreams to know
I will dream of little Joe

Falling Apart
I am falling apart ripped wide open so you can see my beating heart, beating just to be with you.
I am falling apart, smashing in hundred of pieces, and I am not ready to start with the clean-up.
I am falling apart, I was invincible once, before you shot me with your dart that immediately put me down.

Barefoot In The Kitchen
I’m barefoot in the kitchen of this beautiful house,
and I’m forgetting everything that we were talking about,
I know that you’re with me so there’s no need to shout.
I’m loving with my heart all on my sleeve,
and I’m standing here begging you not to leave,
cause I’m really not ready for all that grief.
But it’s all up to you,
where we’ll go from here,
will you be brave and come get me,
or will you cower in fear?
I step outside into the cool
mutable breeze.
Amber leaves hide in the trees,
marking autumn like
ruby-gold jewels.
-
Summer clings to my skin
as cloying sunlight,
sweetly baked into me
and concrete both.
but come the night,
the air cuts cold and thin.
-
I watch my reflections
in the fluttering leaves.
butterflies leaving the cocoon.
butterflies taking wing
in the ever cool breeze.
