someone else surrenders 

to the peace of mind inside

someone else defends her

against another lie

someone else remembers

“seek and ye shall find”

someone else condemns her;

yet another claim denied

are my cravings noticeable?

maybe it’s too late...

kind of makes me wonder if

i’m just ignoring fate

to see your face; a dream of mine

is slowly forming now

as a thought of a fragment of a tiny wish

to see your face... somehow

he quietly tries to reassure

the girl he’s come to love

but she can’t stop feeling insecure

when he’s an angel from above

[abrighterspark]

her eyes were like the twilight,

in that when the day was done

the light inside would slowly dim

just like a dying sun

[abrighterspark]

i let my fears

become my world,

and the wall i built

will not erode...

[abrighterspark]

you take my heart with you

wherever you go…

why not take my hand too,

whenever you go?

[abrighterspark]

neon lights behind the glass

show me where you are

who knew you’d grow up quite this fast,

and become a shining star?
