The new regular Pokémon are great, love the designs, especially Gossifleur

Legendaries are underwhelming. They look too similar to each other and just aren’t that interesting imo

I don’t like the generic approach they’re taking with the camera angle. I think the fixed angles have always been a part of Pokémon’s charm and now it feels a little too much like any other game with Pokémon slapped in it

Dynamax is kinda stupid. I know they’ve been adding these sorts of things since Gen 6 but this one feels like a miss. “Pokémon but big” isn’t exactly an idea that makes me excited

It looks open world and I hate that. I wish people would understand how great linearity in games can be and stop appealing to the trend of the market. Traditionally linear games that have been forcing themselves to be open world to remain trendy age like milk and I’m really worried Pokémon will fall down that path.

I’m still excited, but this made me a little more cautious than I was expecting
