Episode seventy three, Police Lights. Once again, I find out a character i thought was shoehorned in was actually introduced in a very early season. Who was going to tell me they didn't invent Callum Brodie for the apocalypse. What do you mean he was in season two.
Wow. A lot happened. But first off, come on Basira! You seriously left Sims high and dry with the Gertrude tapes?!? No longer one of my favs, hell she’s not even liked anymore. The only times she was ever nice was when she thought Sims was a murderer anyhow. Harrumph.
So ends Maxwell Rayner!!…..maybe!!!!….probably not!!!!!!!! It sounds to me like they caught him mid-Orochimaru. We get another name, Natalie Ennis, but I don’t recognize it even though it’s probably from a previous statement. Like fucking always.
I worry for Basira, even if I don’t like her anymore. I worry about what a government organization might do for its people who see too much. The world of the Magnus Archvies is a sad one, despite the fact that its entire premise depends on the stories of those that survive. They tend to not live soon afterwards.
I’ll give this episode a 7 failing flashlights out of 10 cathedrals-not-basements, would have inklike substance flown out of my mouth into another again.
Statement ends.
Supplemental review:
It’s exactly as sims says it. He quits now, he loses whatever mystery protection he gets. What I fear is that the same may be true for Basira.
Outer Bay Shipping may just be a shell corporation, but we already know from previous statements about a specific captain for a specific boat under a specific company that funds a specific Institute. There may be a connection there.
I also agree with Sims here. Who told the cops? Clearly not a cult member. Basira said a witness saw three unknown members enter his house. Who’s this witness? It would be funny if Micheal came back this way. Doesn’t sound his style tho.
End supplemental. I really need to sleep at some point.
