hi love!! Can i get a poly!marauders x fem reader (or just sirius if you do not write poly) where she is a pretty good cook and just keeps making random things at weird times, like she’d bake cookies at 2 in the morning or make different dishes from different cuisines or she’s bake stuff for each boy depending on what they like and the boys just love her so much for it
James notices you’re out of bed through a groggy search for your warm body that rewards him only with cold sheets and a frown.
He stills and then hears a soft snap and is out of bed with heavy feet, not before taking a peak at Remus and Sirius and finding them sound asleep.
James finds you pulling a pan from the oven and sighs, swiping a hand through his moussed up curls.
“Gorgeous it’s got to be like three in the morning.”
You turn to him with a sheepish smile- James isn’t angry, just concerned. You seem to always get your culinary epiphanies when you should really be getting some rest.
“But I had this idea for a maple pear and almond tart that I couldn’t let go.”
James smiles softly despite his tiredness, “I bet it’s delicious, angel girl but you should be asleep.”
You allow James to cross the distance to you now you’ve set down the tart, his arms corded and warm.
“What’s going on down ‘ere?” Sirius rasps, James turns to him slowly and coos at the look of him. Chest all creased from sleep and grey eyes light as silver as he stares blearily at you and James.
“This angel was just finishing up a tart and coming to bed.”
Sirius narrows his eyes, you narrow yours back but crack when he shakes his head. “You’ve got to get your masterful ideas at a more reasonable hour, poppet.”
You nod, eyeing the sink full of dishes when James nudges you to Sirius. “Go on up and I’ll load the dishwasher.”
You want to protest but Sirius is deliciously warm and he smells like tobacco and sleep and you feel your feet ache from all your standing.
“C’mon poppet, I’ll tuck you in right and nice.”
You snort, “Such a pleasant way of saying trap me to the bed.”
Sirius chuckles as James rinses off the dishes and sets them into the dishwasher.
James only hears the last bit of your conversation, “Thank god Rem didn’t wake else I’d have gotten it good.” You joke, James can imagine Sirius’ wicked grin as he shuts the dishwasher door and sets a plate over the tart.
“Oh I’m still telling him when we get up for real poppet. Lest you think this goes unpunished.”
summary: your boys all have their own way of kissing you goodbye in the morning (ft. how each of the boys take their coffee) ⊹ 1.5k
warnings: reader wears makeup, fluff
· ─ ⋆⋅✶⋅⋆ ─ ·
Monday mornings are the worst. The adjustment from carefree weekends to the beginning of a long work week is never easy, but at least you have your boyfriends to ease the blow.
You’ve always been an early riser. Not because you are particularly a morning person, but because you need ample time to adjust from your deep sleep state to full alertness.
Although, you’re never the first to rise; that’s always James. As soon as the sun is up, it seems that so is he. Sometimes, he even beats the sun to it.
He does have the earliest start time out of all of you— him being a professional rugby player who’s due at practice as early as seven in the morning— but even if he didn't, you’re sure he would be up anyway. His morning regimen is even longer than yours, but aside from that, he is a true morning person.
He's good at keeping quiet, though. At least until the rest of the house is awake. You don’t even hear him pad into the kitchen as you’re stuck in a trance-like state, watching your drip coffee maker slowly fill the glass jug with the steamy, black beverage. It’s been five minutes and the steady drip of coffee is hypnotizing to your sleepy mind.
It’s only when James’ arms snake around your waist that you notice his presence; and you’re not startled at all as James nuzzles his nose into the side of your neck. You’ve come to expect him around this time, it being nearly time for him to leave for the day.
“G’morning, love,” he murmurs into your skin, pressing a tender kiss there.
Your hands slip away from the granite countertop where they were waiting and come to rest over his hands that join over your stomach.
“Good morning, Jamie,” you whisper softly, letting your eyes flutter closed as you feel his warmth behind you.
The two of you stay like that for a few minutes while you let the coffee machine finish its task. James has always been the touchiest of all the boys, and it almost seems like he can’t start his day properly without a lasting embrace before he leaves.
When the coffee machine fizzles to a stop, James begins to ease away from you with a sigh, kissing your cheek on his departure.
“Smells good,” James comments, rummaging through the cabinets to retrieve his travel mug and a porcelain one for you.
You watch fondly as he pours your coffee first and fixes it the way you like it. He slides the mug down the counter and you gingerly take it into your hands. It’s still too hot to drink but the warm porcelain is always a treat for your skin.
James prepares his own cup next, complete with milk and plenty of sugar. He has always liked the sweeter things in life, although he doesn’t always indulge himself. But his coffee is the one thing he’ll never skimp sugar on.
With his coffee in one hand, he takes you by your waist in his other, pulling you a step closer to him.
“I better go,” he says, a small pout displayed on his lips at the thought of leaving you.
You nod understandingly and tilt your head up, giving him the access he needs to press his lips to yours. His goodbye kisses are always tender and lingering, him taking his time to savor the moment.
When he does finally pull away, he gives your waist a warning squeeze before the feeling of his lips on yours becomes a memory. Before he completely withdraws, he brushes your noses together, mumbling, “Miss you already.”
“See you soon,” you reassure him. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” he says, eyes twinkling with warmth as he makes his departure.
A content sigh leaves your lips as you pull a mug that matches your own from the cabinet. After filling it to the brim with black coffee, you take it and yours to the table.
You take a sip of your coffee as you settle into your chair, humming happily and thinking of James fondly for making you the perfect cup.
It’s only a few minutes later when Remus joins you, settling into the seat next to you.
“Good morning, darling.”
“Morning, Rem,” you say, smiling happily as you watch him take his seat.
Remus returns your smile, taking the mug from the table with gratitude as he thanks you before taking a long sip of the dark beverage.
Remus always likes to spend a little time with you in the morning before he leaves for work, which sparked this tradition of enjoying your coffee together. Sometimes you have a conversation, but Mondays mornings are usually spent in a comfortable silence. Still, Remus makes his presence known with a hand on your thigh under the table, tracing circles into your skin with his thumb.
When you and Remus finish your coffees, you take the mugs to be rinsed in the sink. At the same time, Sirius bounds into the kitchen with purpose— always the last to rise even though he has to be the second out the door.
“Good morning, my loves,” he says, his voice ringing out with the exuberance of midday, despite the early hour.
You and Remus greet him as he beelines for the coffee pot. His own travel mug is swiftly retrieved and he doesn’t waste any time before pouring the last of the coffee into his cup.
Every morning, Sirius always tries a sip of the coffee the way Remus likes it as if one day his perspective will be changed. But it always ends with him wrinkling his nose and curbing the bitterness with more milk than there was originally coffee in his cup.
He takes another sip and hums, “Much better.”
Remus chuckles at Sirius’ antics, never understanding why he doesn’t just make the coffee he likes in the first place. His laughter draws Sirius’ attention, and you watch as he approaches Remus with haste.
Sirius rounds the table to settle behind his boyfriend, wrapping his arms around his shoulders as he bends down and begins leaving sloppy kisses to his neck and jawline.
“Something funny?” he asks between kisses.
"No," Remus denies, turning his head to catch one of Sirius' kisses with his lips. "Course not," he adds, his words slightly mumbled before Sirius moves a hand to the back of his head, deepening the kiss.
You lean against the sink, watching the interaction between your boyfriends adoringly. Sirius' eyes flutter open, feeling your eyes on them. He smirks into the kiss with Remus as your eyes meet, savoring the moment for a little longer before he breaks it.
After he ruffles Remus' hair in parting, he saunters over to your with a hungry look in his eyes. His hands come down on your sides firmly when he reaches you, pulling you in until you're standing hip to hip. Sirius is touchy too, but in a different way than James.
"Thanks for brewing the coffee, beautiful," he says coolly, a certain level of charm always present in his voice as if he's still trying to impress you after all this time.
He expresses his gratitude by capturing your lips in an intimate kiss. His hands slide around your body, settling on your lower back for leverage as he pushes you impossibly closer. Sirius' mouth moves against yours hungrily, his hands roaming your body still, traveling lower.
You're breathless when he pulls away. "It's seven in the morning," you comment, winded.
Sirius smirks and presses a final peck to your puffy lips.
“A bit past, actually. Which means I’m late,” he says, feigning concern as he glances at the clock over the stove.
He pats your backside before slinking away, retrieving his coffee and wasting no time to make his exit.
“I love you both!” he calls as he makes his way out of the kitchen, and you and Remus shout your affections back in response as he disappears from view.
The remaining two of you slip back into your own morning routines, finishing getting ready for the work day.
Remus leaves before you too, but first he settles against the edge your vanity to watch you put the finishing touches on your makeup.
When you put your tube of mascara down, Remus gently takes your hand and lifts it to his mouth. He presses a sweet kiss to your knuckles.
“I’ll see you tonight, dove,” he remarks, bending down to kiss the top of your head. He places your hand in your lap to opt for cradling the side of your head, stroking your hair fondly.
“Bye,” you whisper, looking up at him with equal affection.
His face hovers near yours. “I love you,” he says in between pressing kisses to each of your cheeks.
“I love you too.”
With that Remus presses a final peck to your lips and leaves for work.
You’re not too far behind him, locking up the house a mere ten minutes later.
When you arrive at work, beaming and energized, one of your coworkers makes their usual comments.
“You’re awfully cheery. You do know today’s Monday?”
But how could you not be, with the ghost of your boyfriends’ recent affections lingering on your lips.
Hi so this is something i struggle with and had a moment on a lil while ago
Can you do reader getting overstimulated and having to set a boundary with remus and j and s to not touch her?
Its like too loud and too bright and not bright enough and they are talking around her. And then one of them puts their hand on her shoulder or thigh. And she just cracks.
Then something fluffier after she sets the boundary and they go home?
Of course angel!!! They’d be so understanding!!!
There’s all of a sudden too much everything. You can hear the water in the tap as Sirius washes the dishes, then there’s James’ foot tapping as he speaks with remus and Remus bless him is always soft spoken but something about the way he can’t sit still is driving you crazy.
The lights are too bright, it’s too hot then it’s cold, you feel like you’re being tugged to all the sides of the overstimulation spectrum and it’s making you go crazy.
Sirius is suddenly in the living room, his hand tapping your knee and you jolt.
The way you jump startles all of you but Sirius looks mostly perturbed.
“Poppet, you okay?” If you didn’t know him as well as you did, you wouldn’t think he was worried, but there’s a small frown on his lips and his eyebrows hang low.
“Please don’t touch me,” you whisper to them and they all nod.
“Is it too much right now?” James asks, already standing and making his way to the light switches.
“I,” you feel bad for making them look so guilty. “I’m sorry, it just sort of happened.”
Remus tuts and Sirius stands, his knees cracking as he turns off and heads to the bedroom.
“Nothing to be sorry for, sweet girl. What do you need, hm?”
You think, the heels of your hands pressing into your eyes as you do. “Can we just sit in the quiet for five minutes?”
Sirius returns with a pair of socks and your weighted elephant.
“Here, dolly.” He fits the socks on for you and passes you the elephant, watching triumphantly as you relax under its weight.
“We’ll put on something easy, yeah?” James suggests, biting at his nails as he sits on the floor beside your legs.
“Thank you.” You say quietly, Sirius and Remus sitting beside you but not touching you.
“Nonsense angel, what do you think about Bear In The Big Blue House?”
could you make a one shot where the reader gives the boys flowers and handmade gifts for the first time after their first month of relationship?
xoxo
Ugh yes our boys don't get enough gifts! Thanks for requesting gorgeous :)
poly!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 1.3k words
When Sirius answers the door to the apartment he shares with his boyfriends to find you standing there with a bouquet of flowers, he very nearly panics. Naturally, his first thought is of the worst-case scenario: someone else has gotten you flowers, and you’ve decided to break it off with them and be with that fucker. Alternatively, you’re upset that they haven’t gotten you flowers in nearly a week (would those ones have died already? Sirius knows next to nothing about flowers; Remus is supposed to stay on top of that) and have brought an arrangement for them to give you as a not-so-gentle-nudge. He might be sick.
But you’re not deserving of the snappy response that comes to his lips, so Sirius swallows and tries to find his gentlest voice. “Hey there, gorgeous. What’re those for?”
You grin until your cheeks dimple, flushing in the way Sirius has grown familiar with over the past few weeks: you’re excited, but a bit embarrassed to show it. “Happy one-month anniversary,” you say, extending the bouquet to him as James and Remus come into the room behind him, intrigued by what’s keeping their boyfriend so long at the door. Your eyes dart between the three of them in that nervous way of yours as you explain in a rush, “I know it’s silly, but I’ve just been wanting to give you all gifts for a while now, and no one’s birthday is coming up for months.”
“Thanks, dove.” Remus is the first of them to reply, nudging past Sirius to take the flowers from you. James is grinning so hugely it’s pushing his eyes nearly closed, and Sirius suspects he’s staring at you like you’ve hung the moon. “These are beautiful. It’s a month today, really?”
You nod bashfully.
“Then shit,” Sirius says, collecting himself, “you’re not silly; we’re ridiculous for forgetting! Come on in, sweet thing.” He grins at you, and when you shy, as you are wont to do, at his brash manner, James takes your hand and encourages you through the doorway. “Do we have some wine or chocolate or something?”
“We do,” Remus replies, disappearing into the kitchen. “And grapes. Are you alright with white wine, dovey?” You hum in affirmation, and Sirius thanks Merlin for his refined boyfriend, without whom he and James would stock the apartment entirely with crisps and pot noodles.
James takes you to the living room, sitting you beside him, probably not as close as he’d like but wary of making you jumpy. Sirius isn’t so cautious, plopping down next to you so that your legs and hips are squished together simply because he delights in making you flush.
“Leave off ‘er,” James says defensively, and Remus returns, laying the snacks and refreshments on the table before sitting beside Sirius and encouraging him to lean on his shoulder. Sirius huffs in protest, but goes willingly.
His problem taken care of, James turns his attention back to you. “Thanks for the flowers, sweetheart,” he says, and Sirius notices that Remus must have found a vase for them while he was in the kitchen. They’re sitting in the center of the coffee table, arranged prettily in water. “You didn’t need to get us a gift, but that’s so lovely of you.”
You bite your lip, and Sirius knows you have something to say before you say it. “I, um…” you play with your fingers. He wants to take them in his hands, spreading each one between his own. “I’m really glad you like them, but those actually aren’t the gifts I was talking about.”
Sirius watches as James’ expression turns giddy at the plural there. Gifts.
You reach into your bag and pull out a pair of gloves. They’re gray, and they look thick, like they’re made out of some sort of knit material. They’re also huge. You extend them to Remus. “I know you can never find ones that fit,” you say hesitantly, “so I’m hoping these might work? I couldn’t measure to get it exactly right, but I think they’re big enough.”
Remus takes them with something akin to awe in his expression, and Sirius’ mouth goes dry as realization dawns upon him. He’d always thought Remus cut the fingers off his gloves because it looked cool (admittedly, there had been several years when Sirius had copied him for that very reason), but it was because they didn’t fit. His lengthy, slender fingers had to be too long for most gloves. Sirius felt stupid for not realizing it. He glances at James, finding a similar expression of dumbfounded epiphany on his boyfriend’s face. They’d both known Remus for years, and you’d picked up on his plight over the course of a month.
“Did you make these?” Remus breathes, taking the gloves from you gingerly.
“Mhm,” you nod, proud and sheepish at the same time. “I crocheted them.”
“You…they’re perfect. Thank you, dove.” Remus looks the softest Sirius thinks he’s ever seen him, and he feels like someone’s scooped out his guts and replaced them with syrup.
“No problem.” Your cheeks dimple as you duck your head, digging through your bag again. This time you emerge with something red, also crocheted, and vaguely rectangular, turning to James.
He looks at you adoringly as he takes it, but it’s clear he’s as clueless about what it is as Sirius feels.
“It’s a glasses case,” you supply. “I don’t know if you even want one, but you’re always breaking them by knocking them off the nightstand, and I thought maybe it’d help.” You shrink a bit. “Don’t worry about it if you don’t want to use it.”
“‘Course I’m using it.” James sounds appalled, and he takes your hand in his, squeezing gently until your smile returns. “This is so thoughtful of you, angel. Really, thanks so much. I’m going to use it every night.”
You grin hugely, all but glowing at his praise, and when you turn back to your bag, and Sirius is almost surprised there’s still one left for him. As if sitting here, basking in the happiness of all the people he cares about most, isn't enough of a gift.
Still, that doesn’t mean he’s not curious what it is.
You pass him a small pouch, and you’ve made it purple with a black star in the middle. Sirius loves it without knowing what it’s for. Hell, he doesn’t even care if it has a utility, he wants to frame it on his wall.
“I know you drop your earbuds a lot,” you say, “so I thought maybe you could put them in here sometimes, to protect them. I put little loops on it in case you want to carry it or attach it to something, but you could just keep it in your pocket, if you want.”
Sirius takes his earbuds out from his pocket, slipping them into the little case, and they fit perfectly inside. He grins at you, and when you smile back, the corners of your eyes crinkling, his restraint snaps. He lunges for you, wrapping one arm around your shoulders and cradling your head with the other hand. His heart aches, and it's as much for the thoughtfulness and care you put into his own gift as it is for the joy you’ve given to Remus and James. He doesn’t think his heart can handle carrying around this much love. “Thank you,” he murmurs into your hair, and your arms come around his middle, squeezing tight.
He takes his time in releasing you, but when he does you’re immediately captured by James, who kisses the side of your face haphazardly. Remus has gone mute beside him, but Sirius suspects both boys are feeling overcome by the same desperation to express their appreciation as he is. He doesn’t think they’ll ever get close.
“Fucking one-month anniversary,” he says, and he sounds breathless even to his own ears. “I hope you’ve kept the night free, gorgeous, because now you have to let us take you out to dinner.”

"I don't understand why you're being so weird about this," You laugh wearily, brows dipped in concern, "We go to Hogsmeade every weekend."
"Well yes, pet, but we were thinking-"
"It was meant to be more like-" James and Sirius both stopped talking, glancing awkwardly between each other in silence.
"We wanted it to be just a bit more than it normally is," Remus offered, a cautious smile on his face, "Do you know what we mean?"
"Like... we go more places?" You cocked your head to the side, and despite the awkward silence in the room james smiled.
"Not exactly, I mean, we can if you want! We just meant, like, we want it to mean more. We want to be more to you, yeah?"
"We-" You glanced hesitantly between the three of them, "Like, all of you? More?"
"If you're not comfortable," Sirius begun, one hand running roughly through his hair, "We'll call off the trip for today, and give you some space. Just tell us how you're feeling."
"I'm feeling," You trailed off, giving your brain some time to process their request, and trying to ignore their hopeful gazes, "Like I want to try it out."
The grins you got in response were positively blinding, and Remus even surged forward to wrap you in a hug. He squeezed you tightly, only ducking to the side so that Sirius could press a kiss to your cheek, "You won't regret it, dove. 'Gonna treat you right."

"Please Siri," Your chin wobbled, lips quivering as you tried holding in a sob, "Don't yell at me!"
"I never yell unless you make me, puppy," Sirius sighed, "If you were just behaving right I wouldn't have to."
"But what am I doing wrong?" You felt a tear slip down your cheeks, "All I wanted to do was go out with Dean, he wants to catch up 'cause we haven't seen each other in so long!"
"You don't see the problem with that?" One of Remus's eyebrows was lifted haughtily, "Or are you jus' trying to get on our nerves?"
"I'm not!" You sobbed, "I never try to get on your nerves!"
"Come on, pup," James tutted, "Don't argue with us. You know better."

how about them letting you stay in their summer house with your friends knowing full well you're gonna run rampant around the place when they're gone LMFAO
--
"You're sure we can stay here?" You peered wearily up at Sirius through your lashes, gesturing to the lodge you were standing in.
"Of course, Y/N," Sirius's grin was as charming as always, "Jus' don't burn the place down while we're gone."
"We're gonna have so much fun," Your friend gushed from beside you, "Thank you so much!"
"Anytime," James smiled, "I think it's cute that you're taking a little vacation together."
"Here's all the numbers you need to know," Remus set a list on the table, "Mine, James's, Sirius's, the fire department's, the police station's, the hospital's, poison control-"
"Jesus Rem," Sirius scoffed, "They're not gonna drink bleach! Why do they need poison control?"
"Because there's a cabinet stuffed with booze, Padfoot," Remus huffed, gesturing towards the door above the microwave, "You're expecting them to stay sober?"
