Imagine a universe where Megumi dies when he is possessed by Sukuna when he wakes up in the afterlife though no one Is there. He thinks back to Gojo's dead body and runs to go see him and apologize after a bit of running he sees him talking to Geto and runs to see him and maybe even give him a hug which is rare especially for Megumi only...Gojo seems annoyed? Megumi keeps trying to talk to him but Gojo just keeps looking at Geto until Gojo finally speaks up and tells Megumi that he should go find his family, and at that moment Megumi realizes...he was just a burden to Gojo. The man he saw as a father is now just brushing him off because...well Megumi isn't his responsibility anymore.
