Hi! I'm here from the comments on your fic "Seasonal Compression" because I'm not sure what the etiquette is for just like, having a conversation in comment threads on fics, but your tumblr says please interact so here I am (same name on AO3). I did actually go through the code, and it is impossible to date Sym after dating Dys because Dys sets your mem_relationship to monogamous, which blocks dating Sym. I have since edited the data files to make this possible... and also fiddled with some of the epilogues to make Dys/Sym slightly more inevitable. I have so much power no one can stop me :D

Ah, I must have made some edits to my own files and forgotten, or else glitched something with the superuser mode. I did think it was strange that the ending cards didn't reference the triad-ness.

But! isn't it fun to mess with this game like that? The code is some of the MOST straightforward I've seen, everything labelled REALLY well. It's great, it gives me so much freedom to fuck around and find out!!

And thank you so much for checking out the files! I'll have to stop telling people it's possible, but at least this does make my fanfic more canon compliant, haha

Wow I can't either. Um. I'm nearly positive she never appears in canon but that doesn't rule out her being mentioned somewhere. I *think* it's just a fanon thing but you should hold out for someone who's more sure about this than me.

Right? I honestly can't remember if it's just a fanon thing or if it's something TPTB mentioned somewhere. I like the idea of her having an older sister, though. So maybe I'll just use it in fics when it's convenient for me? I dunno.

I have this problem with every fandom I've been in for a while, fanon bleeding in with my canon until I can't tell them apart anymore. It's the worst, lol.

The first thing that popped into my mind when I read this was “Great! You can officiate all the fictional couples’ weddings!” and then the rest of my brain caught up :D

Though, honestly I did look into actually doing weddings for a while. But then I realized I'd have to stand up in front of total strangers and say words. Like, holy crap, I am not built to do that. I have stage fright something fierce and I'm the worst at public speaking. I gave my opposing viewpoints speech in 9th grade in like a minute and a half, even though I'd timed it in front of the mirror and it took the whole required three minutes. I gave my speech twice as fast as I was supposed to. Like, I spoke in double time. And I was shaking, so.

Not an ideal career path, lol.

Well, I was a senior in high school. One of my guy friends was wondering aloud about how one goes about becoming a minister online, because we'd heard about it somewhere. So I google it up and I look over the various sites. I find one that looks good and I figure I'll register and see what kind of test there is involved because, like, they wouldn't just let anyone become a minister, right? I put in my info and I hit the button that I think will take me to the next part, the test I'm expecting, but nope. Instead, the screen says, 'Thank you! We'll review your application and get back to you within 48 hours!', because I guess a real person has to actually okay you. They can't just program the computer to automatically ordain you, lol.

I was like, 'Uh oh...'

That night, I got the email confirmation that I had been ordained. Like, totally and officially. For real. I am Reverend B.

That's possible. But still, the show I was watching was about pyramids, and the same dude wasn't pharaoh when all of them were planned. So they might be 100 cubits by 100 cubits, but they're still not all exactly the same size, because the base cubit isn't the same.
