This is such a weird things to ask, I know, but do you think that the scene w/ Newt and Alice was sexual? Like I known ppl joke that it is but like I always thought it was the equivalent of him getting a high/rush when drifting

I knew immediately that when Newt casually mentioned Alice to Hermann at the beginning that it was going to be something non-human, so I don’t think he treated Alice as something sexual (he just joked around). I suspect that the Precursors made it so every time Newt drifted with a Kaiju brain, he became more and more addicted. And Newt, being the curious and a little too enthusiastic nerd he is, stole a Kaiju brain for his own use. I believe that at first he started doing it out of curiosity (he also wanted to prove himself to people) and then he just kept on doing it for the rush.

All in all, while we might not got Newt’s full back story, it’s safe to say that he’s somewhat damaged (either by bullying by his scientist colleagues or something else) and is extremely prone to obsessive behaviours and addictions. So, he was just lonely and addicted to drifting with Alice who/which was his only “companion”. It’s sad, really.

I would be so sad for not making alot of friends online to make up for my lack of friends in real life. Then remember I literally miss out opportunities of making one on purpose, so I'm the cause of my own loneliness. The other week I had the chance to make art mutuals with someone but I made up an excuse that I can't because "my mom doesn't allow it." But like, I guessed they'll get bored of me quickly because most of the people I met doesn't share the same interests as me, and my interests are some medias that almost nobody knows or enjoy. It's sooo hard, soooooooo hard to keep and make friends. I'm also not the kind of person to talk first, I have to be happy in my own company.

Yessss yes they would be! And, in tfa, there's a chance it'll be questioned why she's got autobot colors (which I think? That's a tfa thing??? Ik in several other continuities it's not, but I think in tfa it very much goes for blue optics = autobots)
