Currently on ep 11 of Bad Buddy, and I’m definitely enjoying it.
Pran and Pat are so chaotic… Pat definitely makes me lose my mind in the worst way possible sometimes. It has everything to do with me being a slight germaphobe (when he sat on Pran’s couch all sweaty, my soul left my body). Plus, when he takes Pran’s toast and some of whatever condiment, which was on the toast, got on his shirt I gagged (I hate most condiments, the messier the more queasy I get. You know I hated Carl’s Jr commercials so freaking much 🤢).
But moving on, Pran and Pat are so chaotic, and ridiculous, and sweet, and supportive (in the most prideful way they can be), and good leaders (they know their classmates/friends so well), but also bad leaders (they could have solved so much by just letting their friends know that their professor said they’d be banned from participating in events together and whatnot), and I love them.
Anyway, even if I didn’t enjoy them, which I do, the whole show would be worth it just for Thong giving his anti waste/eco friendly spiel. Him talking about the people just ordering boba, which comes in bags (and plastic cups), and how if a 100 peeps ordered boba delivery that the bags would be all over the beach… it just made me happy to hear and see that in a show. I’m someone who tries to be pretty eco friendly, and I take my reusable boba cup to the boba place where I live, because I am trying to avoid as much single use plastic, as possible.
On another note, yo! If someone who was like my best friend, lied so they could get the scholarship I had been offered, moved in next door to me (or I saw they lived there before buying the house)… there’s no fucking way I’d either continue to live there or move in. Because if I did, the neighbor would have a string of random fires, and flats, and broken windows (house and car), and a whole hell of a lot more. And I’d tell everyone.
Every single person who I saw walk/drive by the house would hear the story. Or maybe read the story, I’d hang up a sign explaining everything.
And the kids would know, “hey kids, be careful when looking at colleges because your dad might try to steal your spot or scholarship, should you get one.”
“Hey kids, hope you’re enjoying your ice cream bar. Better eat it quickly, because your dad might steal it from you.”
That man would never fucking know peace.
There’d be no these families are enemies, because I wouldn’t let that man (or his family) even think that he had the right to be angry or righteous.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’d be super kind to the kids, outside of me telling them their dad ain’t anything special. But I definitely wouldn’t take the father’s actions and punish the kids.
Anywho, let me finish this show.
