Sharing some old minis
I don’t understand why some of my iTunes playlists have to reduce their volume level or pause a song if I stray a couple blocks from or return to the house. I thought iTunes wasn’t going to be affected from several Wi-Fi signals when I took it for its first test run in Pre-Pandemic February 2020.
I still really miss the pre pandemic times period of life
Snap memories. 😜
Some days
There are some days as a provider when you are forced to be a million things for so many people and you are stretched far too thin.
There are some days as a provider when you have to clean up someone else's mess which is time consuming and prevents you from doing all aspects of your job.
There are some days as a provider when you piss off a consult service because you made a soft consult in the setting of a very upset family who has hated all aspects of their loved one's care and wants a legitimate concern addressed.
There are some days as a provider when you have to declare the death of one patient and walk into the next room with a smile on your face.
There are some days as a provider when things have been so damn busy that you have done so much but feel like you haven't accomplished much of anything.
There are some days as a provider when you don't have time to eat lunch.
There are some days as a provider when you feel inadequate because you didn't do all that you needed to do.
Yesterday included all of those things for me. I was exhausted physically and mentally. I never felt like I got my feet under me - I just felt like I was putting out fires every way I turned.
If you've experienced this and feel like shit, just know that you aren't alone. Every day isn't like this. Just some days.
Happy Mardi Gras from carnival season 2020, before the world shut down. My heart is with everyone getting to celebrate properly this year!
