the GN particles are not the only “god particles” that circulates in the Preventer!AU setting; there are also those dangerous, nameless particles that are the linking element underneat any reported case of spontaneous human combustion since the dawn of times. 

the most recent incident regarding these particles that give those who posses them a strong healing factor and the ability to generate huge amounts of heat dates back a strange fire in a village in Moldova in the years following the soviet revolution. 

More recently, weird incidents involving suspect bear victims that also bore severe burns have been reported in Northwest Canada and Yukon, prompting the SHIELD to deploy a special scouting corp under the command of Major Erwin Smith to secretly wipe out the danger. The danger, was later found, were zombie-like beings resembling mindless, deceased humans, heat and cold resistant with hot bodies and a strong healing factor that made tearing them to pieces using blades the only way to stop them. Since 2016 Smith’s troopes have fought these mysterious creatures in the wilderness, learning very little about their origin and biology. A SHIELD-owned nuclear powerplant and research center in BC, closed since an incident occurred in 2014, seems somehow connected to the mistery.
