This rather interesting black and blue costume was likely created by Joyce Hawkins for the 1987 BBC adaptation of 𝑽𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒓, where it made its debut on Rebecca Saire as Amelia Sedley. It was reused on an extra in the 1994 film 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒐.   Have you seen this gown somewhere else? Let us know at Bit.ly/RegRom211

This striped waistcoat was first spotted on Jim Broadbent as Mr. Worrall in the 1994 film 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒐.   The following year, Christopher Benjamin wore it as Sir William Lucas in 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒆.   From there, it went on to be worn by Rupert Vansittart in the 2013 𝑨𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 as Mr. Wattlesbrook.   This costume has been seen several additional times - find out where: Bit.ly/RegRom181

This jade-colored gown with a Greek key motif was spotted on an extra in the 1995 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒆.   However, it was spotted the year before on an extra in 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒐.   It's possible that this costume originated with the 1987 adaptation of 𝑽𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒓, where Margaret Courtenay wore it as Miss Pinkerton, though it may date to even earlier production.   Share this with your Regency-loving friends! This unique bonnet is a great example of how drastically lighting can change the look of a piece!   It was spotted on Lucy Robinson as Mrs. Elton in the 1996 ITV adaptation of 𝑬𝒎𝒎𝒂. But did you know it didn’t originate there?   In 1995, Julia Sawalha wore it to portray Lydia Bennet in 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒆!   However, the piece almost certainly originated with the 1994 film 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒐, in which Wendy Hughes wore it as Mrs.Worrell.   Find out who else wore it at Bit.ly/Acces163
