Danish Ruby Parure

Origin: Made specifically for the coronation of Napoleon in 1804 for Désirée Clary, wife of Jean Bernadotte (later King Charles XIV John of Norway & Sweden), who was one of the marshals of Bonaparte. She left the parure to her daughter-in-law, Queen Josephine of Leuchtenberg, who in turns gave it as a wedding gift to her granddaughter, Queen Lovisa of Denmark. This is how it came into the Danish royal family's possession.

In 1898, Queen Lovisa gave it as a wedding gift to her daughter-in-law, Queen Alexandrine, who left the parure to Queen Ingrid, Frederik X's grandmother, who left it to her gradson.

Will Frederick finally include the parure in the royal property trust so that it will be saved for the main line?
