Kaylee: Okay, i'm coming to pick you up in like two hours. I found a party. You got your wish, Princess.
SYDNEY MOTTA ➝ FIRST SIBLING
I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN
❖ FULL NAME: Sydney Nora Motta. ❖ PRONOUNS: She/Her. ❖ AGE: 23. (June 15th). ❖ BIRTH ORDER: First. Half-Sibling. ❖ GRADE: Junior. ❖ MAJOR: English and Creative Writing. ❖ SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual. ❖ ROMANTIC ORIENTATION: Heteromantic. ❖ FACECLAIM: Alexandra Park.
I'LL FOLLOW YOU UNTIL YOU LOVE ME
Sydney’s young life was certainly unorthodox. As a baby she lived with her birth mother, Stacy, her mother sharing custody of her with her father, her time split rather evenly between the two. Her father was an incredibly famous actor, whose name rhymes with Peorge Blooney. However, her mother soon met Al Motta and fell in love, getting pregnant quickly after and gladly gave almost full time custody to Sydney’s father. Sydney was living with her father full time, along with her three older brothers, who were her father’s children from his first marriage, and her stepmother, only seeing her mother and siblings on that side of the family every other weekend and certain holidays. While she had nothing against her siblings on her mother’s side, she never felt the same closeness to them as she did her brothers. Along with those brothers, she grew up with her father’s best friend’s children, the Claringtons, considering even them to be more of akin to a family than her mother’s family.
Sydney grew up as just one of the boys, being surrounded by brothers, she had to be tough, or they would have hovered over her, treating her like she was too fragile, and she couldn’t stand that. She had to prove she could take whatever they could, much to her father’s distaste. Being much more inclined to more traditional standards for how a girl should behave, and always scolded her when he would come home to find her trying to tackle her brothers while they played outside. She didn’t care, though, brushing off whatever he had to say to her, because she enjoyed the way things were.
She had never been easy to handle, always picking fights at recess, and never turning down a challenge, her teachers were constantly calling home to speak to father, who would always try to explain to her that fighting wasn’t a good habit to have, but it never stopped her. And as she got older, things only got worse. She wouldn’t just not back down from a fight, she would intentionally start them, instigating, and coming home with cuts and bruises more often than not.
It was no surprise when her father decided she’d be better off at a boarding school, or maybe it just meant he wouldn’t have to deal with her himself, she didn’t care either way. For her, boarding school was just a way to be herself without her father trying to tell her to be more like a lady. She was 15 when she realized how much she enjoyed having sex, and how easy it was to manipulate most of the guys around her. It was almost a game for her, finding a new guy, leading them around, making them want her more and more, she’d even let them think that they’d finally be the one to tame her, to make her want them, but then she’d reach a certain point, sleep with them, and that was it. Occasionally she’d keep them around for a little while, but it was never more than hooking up, and it never lasted long, only until she was bored, or found a new mountain to climb. Of course, she burned through her boarding school pretty quickly, it wasn’t a large school, and guys talked, so it wasn’t long before she moved onto older men.
Sydney would find herself sneaking out after curfew, and into local bars, moving on to play her same game but with men instead of boys. It didn’t matter that she was only 17, they didn’t know that, and she found the lying was just an added thrill. It wasn’t long after, that she ran into someone she knew there, one of her teachers. He was younger than most of her others, and she’d caught him staring at her a few times during class, though she didn’t know if she was just imagining it. She almost left when she saw him, afraid that he’d get her in trouble, and make it impossible for her to keep doing this, but instead, she found herself walking towards him, instead of away. If it weren’t for her past experiences with men, things might not have worked out for her, but by the end of the night, she found herself in his bed, and it was a completely new thrill that she’d never experienced before.
It became something of a ritual, her sneaking out, and meeting him, then ending up back at his home. But after a couple of months, even that started to bore her. Still, she kept up with it, deciding that the risk of it all was enough of a buzz until she found something better, but he could tell that she was pulling away, which caused fights. Even the fights brought a little enjoyment to it all, adding a little spark here and there, until things began to escalate, and eventually one night, he hit her. There were no feelings there, it was still just sex, and she was ready to move on to something new, so there was no way she was going to put up with any kind of physical abuse from him when she didn’t even like him. It took everything in her not to hit him back, but she knew that that could get her in serious trouble, so instead she told him that they were done.
However, things weren’t as easy as they usually were. She may have been done with him, but he wasn’t done with her, and when she told him to move on, he told her that he’d have her expelled. He threatened to tell the headmaster that she’d plagiarized her last exam in his class, and while getting kicked out of school really wouldn’t have been that upsetting to her, it would just land her in a new one with a whole new pool of adventures, she loved to write, and it was her dream to become a novelist, to have her integrity brought into question was something that would follow her. She would never be able to escape that. So things continued, through the rest of her senior year, right up until graduation. She wanted nothing to do with him, but he’d realized that she’d have to take whatever he wanted to give her, so she became the girl who had to cover her bruises, even if she usually wore them as a badge of honor, now they just sickened her. She was in an endless cycle of sex and violence, none of which she wanted, and she felt like she had no way out. When he finally let her stop, knowing that it didn’t make sense to try and continue when she was no longer at the school, she tried to pretend like it was nothing, like it was just sex and who cared about the rest, because it was over now, but deep in her mind, she knew that it wasn’t, and it had changed her.
Going to PSU was an escape for her, finally moving on from that part of her life. It never stopped her from hooking up with guys, and she would never speak of it, because that just meant it mattered. But she found herself sleeping around less, and never keeping guys around for more than one or two nights. She also felt herself on guard more than she’d like to admit, questioning motives, and making sure no one knew anything of importance about her, so they could never use it against her.
BABY, THERE'S NO OTHER SUPERSTAR
Sydney can be a bit of a shit show. Some days she’s in a fancy dress, and the next you’ll find her in a ratty old cut up t-shirt. Some days her hair is flawless, and her makeup done to make her look reserved. The next she’ll go to class with yesterday’s eyeliner down to cheek bones. Generally, she wears what she wants, when she wants, and tends not to care what anyone else has to say about it. She has long, dark brown hair, and is quite petite.
YOU KNOW THAT I'LL BE YOUR PAPARAZZI
Stacy has not been in the picture in a long time, but she was once an extra on a movie with Al Motta, who is a very well known actor and has been since he was a teen. Their youngest daughter, Caila, has been acting since she was five months old, and is still an active actress, singer and judge on both the X Factor and America’s Got Talent.
Thank you for your audition, ROSIE. We are thrilled to welcome you into the group as the First Motta who you have chosen to name SYDNEY NORA, with the faceclaim of Alexandra Park, and we truly cannot wait to meet them. Please send in your account in the next 24 hours, and read over the new members checklist before sending in your link.
[Stevie obviously left this for Sydney at her place, all the card says is From Stevie]
